You had done it.
It was finally over- and you were pretty sure that you had aced the majority of your semester finals.
All except Algebra, of course.
You wouldn't be surprised if you failed that test. But- you were positive that you didn't. Besides- you've been studying weeks prior to the exams.
Students ran out of the school building, but you and Kyou walked in sync as the two of you walked over to the bike rack so he could grab his bike- really the only way he could get home without walking an hour.
"So.. Me and the others were thinking of going ice skating on Wednesday. Wanna come?" Kyou asked, walking his bike to one of the three gates the school had.
"Yeah, I'd love to! What time?" You asked, your face beaming in happiness. You had only gone ice skating when you were little, and with your father because your mother didn't know how and would always be falling every five minutes, and was bad at teaching things.
The best memories you had of your childhood was with your father. Although, when you reached a 8th grade, He got an unknown decease. He is now bedridden, and still alive, doctors being able to fight all of it off. However it's only gotten better, and then worse..
[ NOTE: In Japan your freshman year of high school is an American equivalent of a Sophomore in high school. So in this book you, Len & Rin are all "sophomores" in high school, and with the whole father sick thing happening in 8th grade, he's been living with the disease for two years ]
You were really excited about being able to go ice skating with the others. That, The Vocaloid concert you were invited to, and maybe the festival later on in the week.
It's only going to get better from there..
