"GOOD morning, Ms Dawn." Mrs Dawson nodded at me with a polite smile on her thin lips as I walked into the empty Math classroom tiredly. "Long day yesterday?" She asked, writing equations on the white board for today's lesson.

I nodded to her back, "Yeah. Do you mind if I call my sisters Doctor?" I asked, pulling out my cell phone.

"Go ahead, you have a few more minutes until class starts." She told me, checking her work in the textbook to make sure she wasn't missing anything. "I hope everything is alright with her." She added with a glance up at me as I smiled gratefully for her concern.

Finding the number in my limited amount of contacts, I pressed talk and waited for him to answer. He had given us his cell number so that we would always be able to reach him if we had questions. I tried to refrain from using it, but I figured he was probably in his office as it was.

"Hello, Ms Dawn, what can I do for you this fine morning?" He answered all-knowingly as I laughed lightly.

"Hey, Dr Grey-"

"Darling, what did I say about using my last name?" He chuckled while I rolled my eyes at the guy.

"To not." I sighed, "Sorry, Dr Aaron."

Dr Grey was pretty young still and -as he liked to say- had a valid excuse for acting so informally inappropriate with his patients and their family members. That excuse being he still had the ability to play around because he had not yet received the stick up his âss that all doctors seemed to sit on once reached a certain age. He was a funny guy and perfect for my sister. I couldn't imagine Aurora taking well to a boring straight-faced doctor.

"So, Miss Ailie, assuming you didn't call to chat, what's on your mind, darling?"

"Rora and I have plans to go out of town to visit some family members," I began, leaning back into my hard chair.

"That's wonderful, Ailie!" He said proudly, knowing how much we normally avoid such things. "Is it with your Aunt Melissa?" He asked knowingly.

I should mention he knew my family very well. He had been Aurora's Doctor since the very beginning. So, he knew about everything since he was there with us through everything.

"Yes. She wants us to go for the weekend, will that be a problem?" I asked, playing with a strand of my wet hair anxiously, "The doctor that looked at her had told her to stay inactive until her check up with you next week." I reminded him.

"As long as you don't plan on keeping her on her feet everyday, you should have no problems. If there are, just keep her on bed rest for a little while." He said, encouraging us to go. "If you have any questions, you have my number and I can get you the number of Dr Drew. She's in the same type of practice as I over there and she'll gladly take a look at your sister if you need anything."

I exhaled, feeling a lot better about it with the reassurance from Dr Grey. "Okay, thanks Dr Gr-"

"Ah! What was that?" He interrupted me with a laugh.

"-Dr Aaron." I shook my head just as the warning bell for class rang.

"Oh, that must have been your class bell! You take care, Ailie. If there's anything else I can help you with, don't hesitate to call, Darling." He said, letting me get back to my day, "And, Ailie? I'm sure your mother is very happy with you right now."

I smiled, feeling my cheeks flush at the thought. "Thank you." I mumbled embarrassedly before we hung up.

I looked up to find Mrs Dawson missing. Shît-

"Hey you fûcking creep." My damp hair was suddenly grasped tightly at the roots, bringing my head up in a painful angle as I gasped loudly and yanked at the merciless hand with my fingers. My wide eyes looked up at buzzed blonde hair covering the top of a familiar fat head with beady grey eyes. "The minute Ryder isn't hanging over you, I owe that sweet little body of yours a real memorable pain." He leaned down until his whispering dangerous words brushed my lips disgustingly with his stinky breath as I tried to recoil away, "I promise, bîtch, you'll remember it for as long as you live." With a sinister smirk, he threw my head forward to my desk, releasing my hair.

"Fûck." I spat under my breath, not feeling guilty for the slip of the curse. This was just too dang much.

Ashton wasn't waiting for me outside of Math. I wasn't even aware I was expecting him to be until I noticed he wasn't there. Of course, at this point, Lucas's words came back to me.

I was dead.

Once again my hair was suddenly in the painful grasp of Lucas's hand, dragging me backwards until my face was suddenly eating a face-full of the purple lockers hidden from the teachers eyes in the dark 'make-out' hallway. I groaned out in pain, my hand holding my head where he was pulling at my roots. My other arm was at once twisted behind me as he held it to my back.

"Looks like this came sooner than I thought." His stupid voice laughed out as he pressed the side of my head into the locker, scraping it along all the sharp jagged edges of the hinges.

I hissed out, feeling the skin on my cheek cut open as a warm liquid was steadily dripping down my stinging face. "Please. It hurts." I whimpered out, my heart pounding desperately in my chest as his cracked lips were suddenly at my ear.

"And it's about to hurt a whole lot more, baby." He said in a dark teasing voice before twisting my arm until a sharp scream fell out of my lips as my body writhed in agony. At which point he shoved my head back into the locker, stopping me from causing a scene and almost breaking my durable glasses right into my face.

My eyes squeezed shut, the frightened tears falling down my cheeks as I tried to think of a way out of this. Unfortunately the only defensive move I knew was a swift knee to the groin, and in this position my attack was made useless.

"Why so quiet?" Lucas sneered, "Scream some more for me, bîtch. I like the way it sounds." He purred before slamming the side of my head into the metal again as it collided with my nose.

I could instantly taste the gross metallic in my mouth from my now bleeding nose as I released a cry. My body was aching and all I could do was take it. His strength greatly overpowered me, and even with my free hand, the best I could do was swat at his hand holding my arm back. And because I was standing toes to locker and he was standing so close, I couldn't put any power in my kick.

"I'm not close to being done playing with you," Lucas sickly informed me in a quiet voice just as the bell for class rang. "So we'll pick this up later, okay?" He chuckled and finally let me go.

I waited for him to disappear behind the corner before I shakily fell down to the cold floor, holding my head against the metal door as I let myself break down for a quick moment. My fists pounded angrily at the locker, silently screaming curses in my head at everyone who had ever hurt me. Screaming at the world for every single thing it had thrown at me. Screaming at Ashton for not being there. Screaming at myself for being so stupidly weak.

Even though it was all in my head, by the time I was done, my breaths were sharp and ragged as my chest heaved up and down in protest. Clenching my jaw, I wiped off the blood on my face with my arm, no longer caring as I made my way to the bathroom.

I was so beyond done.
