"That was amazing." I beamed, hugging the sweaty boy without a second thought.

His muscular arms tugged me in closer, the adrenaline rushing though him as he laughed softly into my ear. "I told you I'd win if you came to watch."

He held me in his arms for a long moment, my heart pounding against his before I pulled back with a grin on my face. "Go hit the showers, big shot. I'm going to reek like your BO if you don't." I laughed, backing up towards Missy and everyone.

He blushed, rubbing the back of his neck. "Sorry 'bout that, Ms Dawn." He apologized before running back towards the locker rooms with his teammates.

"How'd you like it?" Missy pulled me into the group, smiling anxiously.

I smiled, "It wasn't the worst torture I've been through." With a giggle, we waited on the boys as everyone gossiped about the players and the game.

"Did you see Dex? God, he might be tiny but he knows how to tackle." Courtney flipped her short white hair, smirking mischievously. "And I can attest to that on a personal level." She purred.

Everyone groaned, rolling their eyes at their teammate. "Jeez, Court. Discretion much." Brianna, another cheerleader, blushed embarrassedly.

According to Jenna, she was the stereotypical religious, blonde, and goody-two-shoes type of a cheerleader. With a rich daddy, a mommy that was on the school board, and a kid brother who was a mathematical genius, she was the perfect example of a prestigious Mika High student. Although limited, there were a few. However, most rich kids when to the Academy.

"Isn't it passed your bedtime, Bree?" Court scoffed, making her frown.

"You need Jesus in your life." She sighed before  checking her watch. "But yes, you're right, I should be getting back. Good night, girls." She smiled brightly, turning to me, "It was so nice to meet you, Ailie. I would love for you to come to church with me sometime!" She added excitedly before rushing off to her red Mini Cooper.

Fat chance of that happening.

"The boys are back." Missy gestured to the group of rowdy boys walking to us. "Did anyone decide on what we were doing tonight?"

"I have work in the morning. I can go to Liam's party for maybe an hour." Jenna readjusted her cheer bag.

"So Liam's party then?" Missy asked the girls, looking at me to ask if that was alright by me.

"Yeah that's fine." We all nodded, confirming the plans as my stomach flipped.

Could I handle another party? Or maybe I should just get Emma to pick me up.

Maybe I'll just go and check it out before I bail out. It was Liam's party—how bad could it be?

"Ailie Dawn, at a football party—my football party." Liam whistled, looking me up and down.

Missy had dressed me in something more suitable for a party—a black leather mini skirt with a cream lacy bralet and left at the door, some strappy cream sandals for my unbalanced ass.

"You look great." He purred approvingly, the alcohol doing wonders for his confidence as he looked me in the eye without flushing pink.
