and boys with substance
~+~+~+~"I forgot to call." The muffled deep voice of Liam was the first thing I woke up to as I sleepily answered my ringing phone after Emma kicked me awake to answer it.
"Mhmm," I mumbled, drowsing back off to sleep as I snuggled into the grey pillow under my head with the phone pressed to my ear.
"I wish I was there with you; to just hold you." He whispered, his voice still half asleep as I nodded in agreement --more than half asleep myself. "I wish I could rewind to the moment I first saw you. I wouldn't let all the years we could have been getting to know one another go to waste -not again. Not over something like my inability to go up and talk to you." He laughed groggily.
"Mhmm, me too." I sighed, my lips tugging up into a smile as my eyes finally drifted close. "But it's okay. I have you now."
"You do. And I don't plan on going anywhere." His voice barely reached my consciousness as he himself began to wake-up, "I want you to know me, Ailie --the parts about me no one else knows about. You're making me feel all these things I've spent years trying to bury and I can't do it with you. I can't hide anything from you."
"It's okay. I do know. You're Liam. Goofy and odd but so sweet. Like strawberry ice cream." I yawned, no longer hearing or seeing anything as my subconscious ruled my mouth and mind. "No matter what's hidden away, Liam's always Liam. And I want to know everything about my Liam."
"And your Liam wants you to know everything about him." He chuckled softly, "Have sweet dreams, Ailie. Sorry I called so late. I just wanted to hear your voice."
"Don't mind. It's nice." And with that, the phone dropped from my ear as I fell back into dream world.

Emma grabbed my arm as she walked up to meet me in the hallway before Gym, "What's going on? You look...zombified." She pointed out, watching me with a tilted head.
I looked at her emotionlessly, wordlessly pulling out my phone to show her the text I had received during Biology class.
"Oh my god." Her big blue eyes widened even more as she took in the picture displayed on the screen. Her cheeks flushed a vibrant red before she started laughing at the words written underneath the crude image.
Heard you were in Biology, Kitten. Thought I could help out with the Human Anatomy section. ;)
"He blocked his number." I shook my head, deleting the disgusting text from my memory and my phones memory after sending him a message of my own.
If that's all there is to look at, I'm not surprised that you have to resort to sending unwanted pictures of it around. Send me something like that again, Dexter, and I will stick piranhas in your jeans. Xx
In all honesty, in the few seconds I actually saw it, he looked pretty well-endowed to my virgin eyes. But I'd rather hurt his ego than have to see it again. The abdominal muscles behind it, however, weren't so hard on the eyes.
"That wasn't Liam, was it?" Emma grinned before I shoved her. "I mean, if it is... Should I even have to say it?" With a funny giggle she latched back onto me as I scowled at her. "Big hunky Liam Turner."
