of evil
~+~+~+~"WELL, hello." Liam chuckled as I collapsed exhaustedly into the chair beside him, my bag accidentally hitting his leg as it fell to the ground.
I grunted my response. English class wiped me out. I hated essays beyond belief and on top of that there was a pop quiz. Ms Franklin was going to be sorely disappointed if she expected me to go up there and heartily give a good debate performance.
"Talkative. I like it." He teased as I turned my head to the side on my arms, taking in his dazzling beauty shamelessly.
He smiled softly at me, his warm brown eyes watching me watch him. It wasn't awkward though. It was a refreshing silence that wasn't full of hidden unsaid things. Just two people slowly getting to know one another. And I wanted to know everything about him.
My face was suddenly hit with a balled up piece of paper, disturbing the peacefulness as I yelped in surprise. My narrowed eyes immediately flashed to the back row in the far corner. Ashton of course was playing it cool, pretending to not feel the physical pain my eyes were causing him. Stupid Ashton. And stupid Kaitlyn, wrapped around him so vulgarly.
"Oh, class, forgive me!" Ms Franklin rushed in suddenly, holding a binder of sticking out pieces of paper that seemed to have been shoved inside roughly. Knowing Ms Franklin, she probably forgot to close the rings and when she picked it up, everything fell out. She turned to me, "Oh and Ailie, your-"
"Lee! I just had the most wonderful encounter with a varsity football player!" A very excited thirteen-year-old ran into the room, instantly bringing a smile to my face. Her beautiful hair was even more of a mess as she pushed back the long curly strands violently with both hands.
"-Sister is here." Ms Franklin chuckled, finishing her sentence as my sisters face turned the deepest shade of pink I had ever seen on her. "You have five minutes to get out of here, you two." She said turning to sort out her lesson plan for the day; allowing my sister some time to make her fantasies come true.
"Ohmygod." She gasped, her eyes glued to the very unprepared boy beside me as she tugged at her school uniform. "Y-y-you're L-L-L-"
"Liam Turner," I held back my laugh, watching her try to come to her senses as I stood up with a stretch. "Liam, this is my little sister, Aurora." My eyes fell on Liam as his face grew pink from all of the attention. "She's a big fan." I added amusedly, trying to not giggle from his expression.
His lips curved up embarrassedly, following me to where my sister was shaking like a little excited chihuahua. "Welcome to Debate class, Aurora." He smiled down at her, his cheeks still an adorable shade of pink that made me want to squeal --much like how my sister squealed, slapping her hands onto her face uncontrollably. And very loudly.
My classmates laughed at her pure adorableness, none of them, thankfully, being dicks. My sister just had that thing about her --she was too innocent and good and bubbly to be mean to. Everyone loved her. Even Ashton -who was silently laughing in the back I noticed.
Aurora took a deep breath, noticeably calming herself down. She smiled brightly, "Can I take a picture with you, pretty please with a cherry on top?"
Oh, Rora.
Liam's eyes flickered to me, softly laughing under his breath, "Anything for Ailie's beautiful sister." He shook his head, wrapping his strong arm around her tiny fragile shoulders and crookedly smiled at the phone still with pink tinged cheeks. I could already tell the picture had turned out wonderfully. I'm sure I'd be seeing a lot of it.
"Thanks," she giggled before turning to to the rest of the class and holding her arm out, pointing her finger at the boy in the back corner still wrapped around the blonde. "Ryder." She called out Ashton sharply, "You. Me. Harry Potter marathon next week. Be there." She ordered before spinning around, "Ailie will hunt you down and hurt you if you break your promise to me. Because she loves me and is a tyrant to all those who do me wrong."
My cheeks instantly turned bright red as I watched Ashton's eyes widen. Did my sister just invite him over?
"Dang, little princess." He muttered with the shake of his head, Kaitlyn pouting at the loss of his attention. "Anything but Ailie's wrath. I don't think anyone could survive that." Ashton joked, winking at me as I stuck my tongue out at him childishly.
"Then you best be there when I want to watch Harry Potter." She shrugged nonchalantly before smiling at an entertained but slightly irritated Liam, "You're invited too. Maybe even Ailie will tag along if she decides to stop being such a big clumsy dork."
"Says the girl wanting to watch Harry Potter," I shoved her towards the door, hoping to get her out of the room before she invited the entire class and made it into a party.
"Oh, that's right," she called over her shoulder to the laughing boys as I struggled to push her tiny but stubborn body into the hall, "Ailie will definitely be there because she's a dork and can't pass up an offer like this."
With that she skipped away, leaving me flustered and red.
"Can't wait to hang out with your sister, Ailie. I'll be waiting very impatiently for the date and time." Liam waved with a bright smile on his face as I retreated into the hall scrunching my nose up at him for going along with it.
"I'll bring the chips!" Ashton called out sarcastically, no longer visible as I faced the long hallway and boldly flipped both of them the bird behind me.
Aurora was just a bundle of evil today. I felt so ganged up on.
