Tonight is my date with Robin. We had been non stop flirting for the past couple of days and I could wait to see him. He should be here any minute now to pick me up. I'm wearing a tight red dress and black stilettos, with my hair down long and wavy. I wanted to dress to impress but not too over the top. The doorbell rings and I rush downstairs. I swing the door open reveal a very handsome man in a deep green button up shirt and black dress pants. His hair is perfect combed and styled. "Hey." He smiles brightly and looks me up and down. "You look... Hot." He blurts out. I laugh to myself before responding. "Well thank you. You look very hot as well." I wink. "Uh. These are for you." He says a bit nervously and hands me a bouquet of roses." I was surprised. Nobody's ever done this for me before. "Thank you!" I say before inhaling their beautiful scent. "If you don't mind I'm just going to put these in some water. You can come in if you'd like." I smile. "Oh ok." He says stepping inside. "No rush, it's only five, our reservation isn't until six anyways." He adds following me to the kitchen. "I'm not trying to be rude but why did you pick me up so early." I ask finishing putting the flowers in a vase. "Well I thought perhaps you'd want to go for a walk and watch the sunset." He responds. I walk towards him and take his hands. "Perhaps." I say smiling. He laughs and let's go of my one hand. "Well then let's be on our way."
"This is beautiful. How did you find this place?" I ask. We are sitting on the top of a hill both rested against a tree watching the gorgeous sunset. "I used to spend a lot of time here as a kid. I would come camping here with my family sometimes." He responds. I sigh and rest my head on his shoulder. "Sounds like you have a nice family." I say. "Ya their pretty great. You'll have to meet them sometime. How about your parents? Any fun memories?" He asks. I shake my head no. "They didn't treat me that well growing up. It was mainly my mother, my father tried to have a relation ship with me but my mother had him wrapped around her finger. I don't even speak with either of them anymore." I explain. "Oh Regina. I'm sorry, thank you for telling me though." Robin pulls me closer to him with the arm wrapped around me. "I mean I'm not alone, they did the same thing to my sister. We tend to hang out a lot now. You should meet her." I say. "I'd love to meet her." He smiles then looks down at his watch. "It's quarter to six, we should probably get going." He adds standing up. He takes my hand and helps me up. "Thank you." I say as he opens the car door for me. He smiles, and gets in the drivers seat. "No problem Milady." He says and begins driving to the restaurant.
We pull up to the restaurant. It is quite fancy looking and expensive. I've never been here before but I've heard great things about it. "After you." Robin says as he opens the door for me. I smile and thank him, then take his hand as a woman greets us. "For two?" She asks. "Yes thank you." Robin replies. "Right this way." She grabs menus and leads us to a booth. We sit across from each other and smile then open up the menus. Everything was so expensive. I didn't want to cost him so much on our first date. "What are you going to get?" He asks. "Uhh.." I scan the menu for the least expensive thing. "A loaf of fresh bread." I say giving him a nervously smile. "Uh ok?" He responds giving me a strange look. "Do you not like any thing here because we can go somewhere else if you want." He suggests. "No. No I just-" I begin to say. "You just what? Regina if it's about the price, I don't care. I kind of owe you for ruining your shirt." He says with a chuckle. "Ok fine, but might I add that was my favourite shirt." I respond laughing. "Oh sure." He says rolling his eyes. "It was!" I protest. "Oh ya well where did you get it then?" He challenges with a smirk. "Macy's." I reply raising an eyebrow. "When?" He asks. "A few months ago." I say. "What day?" He raises and eyebrow. "You really expect me to remember that?" I ask with a laugh. "Well I remember everything about my favourite shirt." He says. "I bet you don't even." I say rolling my eyes. "Uh ya I do." He responds. "It was two days ago, I got it at American eagle, at precisely 11:11am." He says confidently. "How did you remember the exact time?" I ask. "Because you texted me saying it was 11:11." He says laughing. "Oh ya. I never make a wish at 11:11, I can never decide what to wish for and then when I do it's already too late." I reply and we both laugh.
The rest of the date went great. Full of laughing and talking, we were both loving getting to know each other. The more I found out about him the more I liked him. He pulls up to my house and we both get out of the car. I take his hand with a smile and he walks me to the door. "Thank you for such a lovely evening." I smile. "Well anything for you Milady." He replies taking my other hand. I lean in and my lips lightly brush his until they lock into a passionate kiss. I close my eyes and enjoy this moment together. I pull back and smile, "that was perfect." I say. "You're the one who's perfect." He smiles and I laugh slightly. "Good night Robin." I say. "Good night Regina." He responds and I walk into my house. Wow. Is all I can think. He's almost too good to be true.
