"Robin." Regina says softly into her cell phone.

"Hello, my love." She hears him whisper in his gentle voice.

"Are you alright?" Robin goes on to ask her.

After Robin left with Marian, Regina hadn't been able to sleep and quite frankly neither could Robin. She was heart broken, to say the least after he left, but needed to make sure he was ok. One lonely night she picked up her phone and after a long debate with herself, she dialed his number.

Weeks passed since that day. It became a daily thing Robin and Regina would do, it helped them stay connected in a way and stay close with each other. They called each other every night. Sometimes it would be Robin that would call first, some times Regina. Although it always took them hours to hang up. The only problem was that Robin had to wait until Marian had fallen asleep to call his soulmate which made the calls come in pretty late. Regina couldn't complain though, she couldn't fall asleep until she heard the soft 'Good Night' from Robin through the muffled phone.

"I can't sleep." Regina tells him through a sigh.

Every time Robin hears her say that he can't help but feel awful. He is the reason she wasn't getting her beauty sleep. Not that she needed it, she is already the most beautiful woman in the world to him.

"What can I do to help?" Robin asks sweetly as he sits on a stool in the small kitchen of his apartment.

"Just talk to me." She simply replies, putting the phone on speaker then placing it on her night stand. She then nestles her head into her comfy white pillow and cuddles into the soft sheets of her bed, trying to get comfortable.

"Ok, how is Henry doing?" Robin says, knowing Henry was the only other person she cared enough to talk about.

"He is doing great, but he doesn't come here much anymore." Regina explains, sadness present in her voice.

"Why?" Robin asks her. It wasn't fair that she lost him, and now her son also.

"He's spending a lot of time with Emma now. I shut a lot of people out after you left and he happened to be one of them." She sighs, shaking her head in disappointment with herself.

"Just when I redeem myself and he starts seeing me as someone I never thought he would, I disappoint him again." Regina says, tears forming in her eyes.

"Don't be so hard on yourself, my love." Robin responds with a small sigh.

"How could I think that I could even have a happy ending? After all I've done, I don't deserve it Robin." Regina sniffles and suppresses a quiet sob from escaping her lips.

"I can hear you crying. Please don't cry, Regina. It makes me so upset." He tells her in a sad voice.

"I'm sorry, I just..." She was so frustrated with herself.

"I wish you were here. You always make me feel better." Regina smiles slightly, thinking of him.

His arms wrapped around her protectively as she would rest her head against the confront of his shoulder or in the crook of his neck. Smelling the faint smell of the forest she had grown to love.

"I know, I wish I was too." Robin sighs, he really did wish he was with her right now. He loves her but, he has to do the honourable thing and stay with his family.
But Regina was also his family.

"I really miss you." He hears Regina's voice nearly crack through the phone. That brought tears to his eyes, tears he had to blink back.

"I miss you too." Robin admits, taking a long breath to calm himself down.
