Regina watches the crystal within the hands of the devil glow a bright colour of blue. Her heart races as she sees the wickedly evil smile form upon his lips.

This was the end of her.

She was going to die.

She accepted that.

The lightning finally broke from the crystal, sending a bright volt of blue magic towards her chest. She closes her eyes waiting for death to take her right then and there but it never came. She feels the presence of someone in front of her, opening her eyes just in time to see the love of her life get struck by lightning. "No!" She yells but it's too late to do anything. The lightning from the crystal plummeted deep into Robin's chest. Regina's breathing becomes uneven, she feels her heart stop at the sight before her. Robin turns to face her, his watery blue eyes boring into her tear filled brown ones. To her surprise he smiles, one last moment of happiness, seeing the face he'd gotten so used to loving. She attempts to smile back at him, she couldn't believe he'd sacrifice himself for her. She hears a whispered, I love you. Robin's body falls limp before her but a faint image of him still remains. His soul stands before her reaching a hand to caress her cheek. He doesn't quite make it before his soul disappears.

Regina still couldn't quite process what had just happened her hands jolt forwards to touch him one last time but he's gone. She kneels beside his lifeless body, pressing her head to his chest, wanting to hear the beat of his heart but there was only silence. This couldn't be happening. She had already lost love, she refused to lose it again. Her thoughts are broken by an evil cackle from the man who killed her beloved Robin. Regina's expression turns to one of pure anger, she could feel her evil intentions overwhelm her once again and she stands to face him. "Don't worry, it won't be long until you join him." Hades says, pointing the crystal in Regina's direction. She watches as the crystal lights up, the familiar blue shade she knew would haunt her.

Regina feels the power rising within her with every second that went by. "You-you will not get away with this." She says through gritted teeth. He chuckles, "I already have. Even if I don't kill you, you will be too broken, too hurt about losing your love to even fight against me. You see love makes you weak. Robin was the only one who loved you. Now that he's gone, you are nothing but weak." Hades says, Regina blood boiled with anger. "Do not tell me what I am." She says, giving him a deadly glare. "You're weak, Regina and you know it." He responds. She has so much built up anger and hate inside of her just begging to get out. She clenches her fist a few times, wanting to give in but then calming herself. She knew inside she wasn't weak. Love is strength. Robin showed her a new kind of strength within her that made her a better person. We all have the capability to change.

"I am not weak!" Regina yells, and throws her hands toward Hades. An overwhelming power coming out of her, throwing him back against the stone wall of her office. He was out cold from the looks of it. She was proud of herself but she meant what she said. He will not kill the love of her life and get away with it. Regina grabs the crystal, watching as it lights up as it sensed her magical energy. She lifted it in her hand and dug it deep into Hades chest, watching as his soul dissipated, like it did Robin's.

Regina ran back over to Robin caressing his pale face and clutching his cold hand with her warm one. She heard the sound of loud footsteps and presumed it could only be the Charming's. She didn't want them to see her like this, broke and alone again. She couldn't help but feel empty knowing her Robin was dead. They were her family now though. She knew they would comfort her and help her thought this. Although she didn't want to get through it. She didn't want to move on from Robin. He was her second chance, her only chance at happiness.

"Regina?" Snow's voice broke her train of thought. She looks up from her place on the floor beside Robin, her eyes meeting Snow's. "W-what happened?" Snow asks, kneeling beside her. "H-Hades. He k-killed Robin." Regina could barely get the words out through her chocked sobs. She rests her head on the body of the thief, her thief, crying loudly. Snow rubs her back, whispering "It's going to be ok." Regina knows it will not, she has lost her love and Snow will never know that pain.
