Regina was usually the first to wake up in the mornings. Although today it was different. Robin was the first one up, after one of the best nights of his life. He had proposed to the woman he loves just hours ago after a romantic dinner and a walk in the moonlight. He'd been planning it for weeks and finally, last night was when he asked her. And of course her answer was yes.

Robin's arms were wrapped around Regina's small waist, his legs tangled with hers. He doesn't want to wake her, assumes she's tired so he carefully slips from her warm embrace. She groans quietly then rolls over and is back to her deep sleep. Robin decides to let her rest while he cooks breakfast, thinking it would be lovely for her to have breakfast in bed.

After nearly an hour spent on preparing food, Robin brings the tray of fruit, separated by colour to her room and sets it on their dresser before going to wake her up. He gets onto the bed, crawling over to her until his lips are hovering over hers. She's still asleep, her lips are parted just the slightest bit and her breathing his light and even. She looks absolutely beautiful this way, her face peaceful and free of make up making her look so pure.
Robin supports himself using one arm, placed just beside her head while his other hand lands on her cheek. Slowly, Robin leans down and captures her lips in a soft kiss in hopes to wake her. Soon he feels her hand gripping at his back and her lips moving with his. His fingers weave through her hair, pushing it away from her face and he can feel the smile on her lips. Robin then pulls away and opens his eyes looking down into hers with a loving gaze.

"That was a lovely way to be woken up." Regina says, quietly, her eyelids still heavy and a sleepy smile on her face.

"How do you feel about me waking you up like that every morning?" Robin asks, still running his fingers through her hair and toying with her loose curls. Regina moves her hand to the back of his head, slowly bringing him down into another kiss.

"Mmm... I think I'd like that." She hums as she pulls away. He then rolls off of her, sitting up in bed while Regina lies on her side, propped up on her elbow.  "You know," she begins. "It feels weird wearing this." She continues, looking at the diamond engagement ring on her finger.

"Well," Robin starts. "I could always take it back."

"You wouldn't dare." Regina challenges, raising an eyebrow at him. She sits up in bed and takes his hand in both of hers.

"You're right, I wouldn't. I love you too much to do that." He responds as Regina plays with his hand, tracing the lines of his palm with her finger.

"I love you too." She says, now holding his hand in hers as she leans over and places a kiss to his lips.

"I made you breakfast." Robin tells her when she pulls back.

She smiles, "And what did you make me, my handsome fiancé?" Regina asks playfully as she lets go of his hand and flops back down onto the bed. Robin laughs at her, he loves when she acts this way. She's so carefree and happy.

"A fancy platter of fruit." He replies, watching her eyebrow raise in interest.

"What's so fancy about it?" She asks. He gets up from the bed and walks over to the dresser, grabbing the tray in his hands.

"It's colour coordinated." Robin tells her, taking a seat back on the bed.

"Fancy indeed." She giggles, "Grape, please." Robin laughs as well and takes a red grape between his fingers. Regina sits up against the head board, placing some pillows behind her back and head as she does so.

Robin pops the grape in Regina's mouth and she smiles before grabbing one and doing the same with Robin. "What do you want next, my beautiful fiancée?" He asks, looking down at the platter full of apple slices, strawberries, pineapple, blueberries and a few more grapes.
