Robin had been in his chambers all day after a night on patrol at the castle. Zelena's monkeys were attacking spontaneously and the Merry Men took turns on duty. It was getting late and he had just finished tucking Roland into bed, then went up to the spare bedroom Snow and Charming had kindly offered him. He was just about to change into something a bit more conformable to sleep in when he heard a soft knocking at the door. He walked over to it, and opening the door revealed the queen standing before him. He quickly let her inside the room and closed the door behind them. She began walking further into his room, hands on her hips and her eyes wandered the space. Robin walked up behind her, wrapping his arms around her middle and stopping any further movement. He felt her body lean back against him as his chin came to rest on her shoulder.

"What brings your royal cuteness here?" He asked, before planting a kiss to her cheek. Robin immediately felt her smile, as her hands came to rest over the strong arms embracing her.

"I just wanted to see you. I missed you today, Thief." Regina confessed, her head falling back onto his shoulder and dark eyes drifting up to look at him.

He hummed contently, leaning down to burying his nose in her ebony hair and inhaling the gentle scent of roses and her perfume that always seemed to linger around her. "I missed you too."

She spun in his arms, his hands sliding to hold her hips where the skirt of her dress met her tight corset. Her chin tipped upwards, lips meeting his in a soft kiss before she pulled away. "I wanted to come see you." She admit. After all, he had just been outside the castle. She kissed him one more time before continuing, "To come kiss you."

His fingers squeezed her hips as he pulled her closer, kissing her again longer and deeper than before. "You could've." He replied when they broke the kiss.

She shook her head, "We both know I can't, Robin."

"I know you don't want to tell anyone about us yet but I don't like hiding. I want to be able to kiss you and hold your hand whenever I want." He explained, pecking her lips again; simply because he can.

She breathed a long sigh, "I know."

"What if we just tell Snow and Charming?" Robin suggested, but by the look on her face he already knew that she did not want that.

"No. Those two are the last people I want to tell. Five minutes after we tell them the whole castle will know."

"That's the point, my love."

She still wasn't convinced that this was a good idea. Not that she was embarrassed of her relationship with Robin, she was just scared of what people might think of her knowing that she had fallen in love; scared of looking weak. "I think we should wait a little longer."

He frowned, he didn't want to wait any longer. "It's been months. I think it's been long enough." He insisted, still gently because he doesn't want her angry with him.

"I know." She leaned back a bit in his arms to brush a piece of hair out of her face and tuck it behind her ear. "I know, Robin but you have to understand that it's been quite a while since I've been in a relationship like this."

"I do understand." He said because he did, it didn't mean he agreed with her reasonings.

"Good. Then you can understand why I want to wait a bit longer." She states, her hands moving from the back of his neck to rest in his shoulders.

"Yes, because you like the fact that we're hiding and sneaking around. You like thrill of it all. Is that all this is to you? Just fun?" He asked, clearly getting a bit worked up about this situation.
