"What?" Regina asks in complete shock as tears form in her eyes. This is what she had always wanted but never let herself have.

"I-" Robin takes a deep breath.

"I love you." He says looking Regina in her beautiful brown eyes.

A smile twitches at her lips and she quickly walks over to him and throws her arms around him. He's surprised to say the least, he thought she'd walk away but she didn't, she's hugging him. He can feel the steady beat of his heart against his chest as he wraps his arms around her waist, holding her tightly. Her cries are quieted by his shoulder but he still doesn't quite understand why she is upset.

"Regina, are you alright?" Robin asks pulling back from the hug. His eyes search hers, wanting to know how she was feeling but he couldn't quite read her.

"Yes, I'm sorry." She breathes, and he wipes her tears with his thumb.

"There's nothing to be sorry for. Although I must ask, are these tears of happiness or sadness?" He says with a concerned expression.

"A mix of both actually." Regina responds, looking down then back up to meet his eyes again.

"Do you truly love me? We haven't even known each other a week Robin." She says, unsure if this was true; if he was being serious.

"I know but as soon as I saw you it was like I had to have you. Your eyes met mine and I just knew I was meant to gaze into them, forever." Robin replies, with a small smile as his hand caresses her cheek.

"So to answer your question, I do truly love you Regina." He finishes, seeing the tears build in her eyes once more.

"Can we go back inside? I think we should talk." Regina says with a small smile.

"Sure, but on one condition." Robin replies.

"No more tears." He says, brushing one off her cheek. She nods and takes his hand as they go back into his apartment.

Robin leads her to the couch and they both sit down.

"This isn't something I like talking about." Regina starts, taking both his hands in hers.

"But I trust you." She continues and he nods, letting her know he's listening.

"There isn't a future with me." Regina blurts out, and his brow furrows in confusion.

"What do you mean?" Robin asks.

"I'm immortal. I live forever and I don't age, Robin." Regina admits, feeling like a weight has been lifted off her chest. He's left speech less for a short moment. Regina thought he might leave but then he begins speaking.

"How did you become immortal?" Robin asks her, hoping she would tell him.

"I was forced by my sister into drinking a potion, she was abandoned as a child and I was kept so she wanted revenge on me. This was the worst she could think of." She explains with a small sigh, her gaze drifting down.

"What if I took the potion?" Robin asks bluntly. Regina's completely speechless.

"You can't Robin." She says looking back up at him, she didn't want him living this awful life like hers.

"Why can't I?" He asks and she lets out a long sigh.

"Robin, trust me you'll regret it." Regina says sharply.

"No Regina I won't. I love you." Robin replies sincerely, making a smile pull at her lips.

"But what if something happens? You barely know me. I don't think you should commit your life to being with me just yet." She states, trying to knock some sense into him.
