It was Regina's last day of college. She couldn't be happier to move on with her life and for school to be over and done with. Although one thing, one person is holding her back.

Robin is junior in college who is majoring in biology. He was very much focused on school and only school, until one day when someone changed his life. He was walking on campus to a small cafe where  he would usually go to study or chill with the few friends he had. Robin took a seat on a stool by the counter and ordered a cup of coffee. The waitress handed him a coffee cup and he gave her a small smile before he brought it to his lips and took a sip. He frowned at the taste, his face became a mere grimace. He placed the coffee cup on the counter, although it was not filled with coffee. Robin's day was already stressful enough with all the studying, he wanted a hot cup of coffee to help him relax a bit, not a cup of tea.

Just then Robin felt someone tap him on the shoulder. He turned around to see a woman looking at him. She had big brown eyes like drops of milk chocolate and dark wavy hair that fell just below her shoulders. "I think you took my tea." She said. Robin was completely lost in her, she had to be the most beautiful woman he'd ever seen. "Uh-um." Robin said, looking from the coffee cup back to her. She crossed her arms over her chest and raised an eyebrow at him, noticing how nervous he was about talking to her. "Yes, I suppose I did." Robin finally managed to say, taking the cup in his hand. "Sorry about that..." He turned the cup and saw a name written on it. "Regina." He said, smiling at her. "That's alright." Regina responded, returning the smile. He noticed what a nice smile she had and couldn't stop himself from complementing it. "You have a beautiful smile." Robin said and she blushed slightly, looking down at her feet and tucking a loose strand on hair behind her ear. "Thank you." Regina replied, looking up to meet his eyes again. His eyes were a colour of blue, like a stormy ocean with specks of light blues and greys, she felt as if she could stare into them forever. "May I buy you another drink?" Robin asked. He had a fairly thick British accent, his hair was dark blond, short and styled perfectly. He wore a navy blue polo shirt and khaki shorts, he was one of the better dressed guys she'd met. He was handsome in an obvious sort of way but he also seemed sweet. "Sure, that's very kind of you." Regina said and he nodded. "Well, I'm a kind guy." Robin responded and she smiled again. Regina ordered herself another tea and Robin paid for it, grabbing his own coffee as well. They sat together and began talking. Robin learned Regina was a sophomore, studying Psychology. Her plan was to become a counsellor, specifically for children going through problems in life. As the night went on they continued to talk with each other, growing more fond of the other by the minute.

"Do you mind if I walk you home?" Robin asked. "Sure, I'd love that." Regina responded and took his hand. He smiled at her and began walking. "So you live on campus I assume?" Robin asked, she nodded. "Yes, suppose you do too?" Regina said. "Yes, just in this building here." Robin responded, pointing at the building before them. "Oh well then you go ahead, I can walk back by myself." She said, releasing his hand. "No, I want to make sure you get back save." Robin rejoined their hands and continued walking. Regina sighed and rested her head on his shoulder as they walked along the stone pathways. She had really started to like Robin, a part of her felt as if she could immediately trust him. "This is me." Regina said, pointing to a smaller building in front of them. "Thank you for walking me." She smiled up at him. "Not a problem." Robin responded. They locked eyes for a few seconds, waiting for each other to make a move. Regina broke their gaze thinking that maybe he didn't like her the way she did, maybe he wanted to just be friends.
