My Maths Teacher: Mr Minter (COMPLETED)

Chapter 8

I got home and saw a text on my phone, it was from Vikk.
Hey! Want to play some GTA with me and the rest of the guys? Thought it would be a fun game to play for our channels :)
Well I had no work to do so I might as well play some games, I replied to Vikk and went over to my computer and signed into Skype.

I joined the call and was greeted with all the boys saying hello to me. "Hooray, you finally joined" Harry said as he cheered, this caused me to laugh. "Sorry guys, I just home. I had detention" I said, trying to sound sad so they didn't get suspicious. Secretly I was over the moon, but they can't know anything about me and Simon.

"Oh yeah, Josh told us about that" JJ said as started to record. "I can't believe he gave you a detention, you gave in your work" Josh said sounding a little annoying. "It's fine, it turns out that I did give in the wrong work, I was so tired that I must've put the wrong sheet in my bag. Don't worry, everything is sorted now" I told the boys. I hated lying to them, but if they knew about what happened, then Simon could get into lots of trouble and I can't put him through that. Plus, we both like each other, I'm pretty sure neither of us want it to end.

We continued playing for another 30 minutes, but I kept zoning out and my mind kept drifting off into deep thoughts. I kept thinking about Simon, I know it's wrong to have a teacher/student relationship, but there's something about him. Something that will make me risk everything just to see his face, I wouldn't say I'm in love with him but the way I feel, it's my far off. Oh god, what's happening to me? Olivia listen to yourself, you can't have a relationship with him, he's your teacher.

"Olivia, are you ok?" I was quickly snapped out of my thoughts and was brought back to reality. "Huh? What did you say?" I asked, I had no idea who was speaking to me. "I said, are you ok? You seem distant tonight, is everything alright?" Josh asked. "Oh, yeah everything's fine, I just have a lot on my mind that's all, sorry" I said, trying to reassure them.

"We can stop if you want, we have enough footage to make a video" Tobi said, his voice full of care. "No it's ok, we can continue" I said back, I needed a distraction.

*The next day*
I walked into school with the rest of the sidemen, that's what I called them now, as it's so much easier. We had maths first lesson and I was so eager to get into class, you can probably guess why. We all walked up the stairs to our classroom and walked in, for once Mr Minter was already in the room. I walked past him to sit in my seat and I could see in the corner of my eye that he was looking at me. A smile grew on my face, as I took my seat. For a split second our eyes connected, that sent a shiver down my spine, we couldn't make anything awkward, so we had to stop almost immediately.

"Good morning everyone" he said as he stood at the front of the class. "Now today we have a new student joining our class, she moved up a set". We all looked around, wondering who this new student could be. Mr Minter walked over to the door and opened and in walked in the new student.

No. It can't be. Tiffany! She walked in and every guy in the room stopped and stared at her, including my friends. However, all the girls in the class either looked scared or was giving her a dirty look, I was one of those girls.

"Tiffany welcome to our class, now if you could take a seat over there, that would be great" Mr Minter said as he pointed to the seat. "Of course" she replied and smiled at him, i could see what she was doing. Of all people, why did she have to join our class. Now she's going to be all over him and trying to his attention all the time, I suddenly became very annoyed at the thought of it. Then I saw her looking at me, she was giving me a dirty look and I suddenly became very uncomfortable.

During the lesson Mr Minter was at the front of the class, teaching us a new topic. Tiffany kept staring at him and I didn't like it at all. Just then she raised her and Mr Minter looked over at her. "Yes Tiffany" he said.
"Sir, I don't really understand. Can you help me?" She said, as she smiled at him and began to play with her hair. I wanted to rip all of her hair out, then she'll nothing to play with.

I hated this, throughout the whole lesson she kept asking him for help, just so he would come over to her. I kept giggling around him and I was getting more and more annoyed. I sometimes even saw Mr Minter smile at her and this caused my heart to drop. I kept telling myself that he didn't like her, he likes me, he kissed me.

After another torturing 10 minutes, the bell finally rang, which meant it was the end of of lesson. Thank god, I just wanted to leave this room, I can't stand to see Tiffany looking at Mr Minter for another second. As I walked past Mr Minter's desk I felt his hand reach into mine and put something into my hand. It was a piece of paper. I turned around to quickly and saw him give me a little wink before he turned around and went back to his desk.

I walked out of the classroom and hid behind the corner, I looked at the note in my hand and opened it.

Hey Olivia, I don't think it would be fair to pretend to give you another detention. So meet me in my room at 3:30 after school, I want to talk to you about something. Simon x

I smiled to myself as I read the note, I wonder what he wants to talk about. I felt happier and completely forgot about what happened in class. I then walked off to my next lesson, with a huge smile written on my face.
