Chapter 23

I stood outside the headmasters office, waiting to knock on his door. I was hesitating to knock on the door, I was nervous, very nervous. I then plucked up the courage and knocked on the door and waited for a reply. Then I heard a voice from the other of the door saying "come in". I then opened the door slowly and walked in.

He was sitting at his desk looking at me, "sit down" he said with a low tone. I went over the chair opposite his desk and sat down. "Olivia, you're probably wondering why I've asked you to come here" he said.
"Yes" I replied.
"Well it's about that happened with Mr Minter" he added.
My throat then became very dry, oh no what is he gonna say? What is he gonna do? My heart began to race.

"I want you to tell me what happened, from the beginning. As we need to give a full report to the police and seeing as you're the victim in this situation, it would be best to hear it from you" he said to me.
Victim? I'm not a victim, I chose to be with him. I really don't want to explain how me and Simon got together, I don't want him to tell the police any of this. I could lie but that would get me into deeper trouble. I have no choice, I have to tell him the truth.

"I have always liked Simon, ever since I started this school. He has been so nice to me and helped me with maths, which is the subject I struggle most with. Anyway after a few months of tutoring I found myself starting to have feelings for him, then we kissed. Then we got caught by Tiffany and that's how the rest of the school found out" I explained.

"I see and have you and Mr Minter had any sexual contact at all, it's vital we know this as the police needs to know" he said to me. Oh god, I can't tell him we had sex. He'll end up in prison for sure.
"No, we haven't had sex" I told him, trying my best to sound truthful. I know it's bad to lie but if they knew we did have sex, then that'll be end of it.

"Ok and is there anything else you'd like to tell me?" He asked. "No, that's everything" I replied.
"Thank you for your time Miss White, I will be contacting the police right away" he said. "What will they do?" I asked him.
"Continue to search for him, take him in for questioning and most likely arrest him as he has committed a crime" he explained to me, while lightly spinning his chair. I didn't know how to reply to this, I just nodded my head and walked towards the door.

"Oh, one more thing. Have you seen him around lately? Because if you have then I suggest you contact the police, hiding him away is the worst thing to do in this situation" he said to me as he glared at his computer screen.
"No I haven't seen him since that day" I replied. "That's good, thank you Miss White, you may leave" he said.
"Thank you Sir" I replied and walked out of his office. Oh god, I need to go back to the house straight away and tell Simon.

*Back at the Sidemen house*
I quickly walked inside the house, it was filled with laughter. I walked into the living room to see the guys playing FIFA. They all looked so happy and I couldn't help but smile to myself. Simon looked so happy and that brought a tear to my eye, how could I ruin this moment now. I'll tell him later.

"Hey Olivia is back" Harry shouted. All the guys then looked up and greeted me. I walked in and joined them on sofa.
"You alright Olivia?" Tobi asked as he looked at me.
"Yeah I'm fine" I replied with a small smile. "How did everything go with the headmaster?" Harry asked.
I looked at him in shock, oh no. He told them.

"It's ok, they know he wanted to speak to you. So what did he say?" Harry added. I explained to the guys what I had said to the headmaster.
"Then he asked me if we had any sexual contact" I added.
"Well that's ok, because you haven't done anything. Simon you're gonna be fine mate" Josh said with a smile.
I then looked over at him, my expression serious.

"Oh no, you haven't" he asked, trying to keep some hope.
"We did" Simon said. "Oh god, this hasn't made anything easier for you two. If Simon was to be questioned they wouldn't be able to do much if it was just a kiss, but if they find out you two have had sex. Then they've got that against you and you'll go down for it" he added.

"What did you say to him?" Simon asked me as he put his hand on my shoulder. "I said we didn't, I had to lie to him, to protect you" I said as I looked into Simons eyes.

"That's pretty risky" Ethan added. "I know, but they don't know we have and if we keep it that way, then you'll fine" I said with a smile. "You best hope no one finds out you've been lying then" JJ said as he looked over at us.
"I hope they don't, we just have to make sure no one finds him" I said.
"Don't worry, you have us. We'll help you both through this" Tobi said with a smile. "Thanks guys, I knew I could count on you."

"Soo... Nandos?" Simon asked. "Yeah!" We all cheered in sync. All the guys went to the kitchen to sort out the food while I sat in the living room, thinking to myself.
I have no idea what I'm gonna do next, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't scared. I really hope the police don't find Simon, I have an awful feeling something bad is gonna happen though. But for now, I just need to stay positive. That's all I can do at this point, I need to protect Simon. Normally in these situations it would be the guy who wants to protect the girl, but in this story, I'm the hero.

So what will happen next?
Will the police find Simon, now they have the full story?
Not really sure what's happening in this story at the moment, so I apologise if it's dragging on. I'm trying to think of more ideas for the next few chapters. I hope you're enjoying this story though, please let me know what you think :)
