Chapter 13

I was lying next to Simon, in his bed. We were both tired from recent events, he had his arm around me and I was smuggled into his bare chest. He was asleep, he looked so peaceful and I just loved to stare at his beautiful face.

I was drawing patterns on his chest with my fingers and I felt him begin to wake up. His eyes fluttered open and he looked down at me, smiling.

"Hey" he said as he kissed my forehead. "Hey" I whispered back.
"Are you ok?" He asked me and looked into my eyes. "I'm fine, couldn't be happier" I said as I kissed him again. I then looked at my phone saw that it was 11:30pm and I had 3 missed calls from my mum, shit.

"Simon, it's nearly midnight. My mum has been calling me, she's probably worried sick about me" I said as I jumped out of bed and began to get dressed.
"Can't you ask if you can stay? it's very late" Simon said as he sat up in bed.
"I highly doubt she's gonna let me stay here with you, she hardly knows you" I said as i looked at him.

He's right though, it's very late and I'm sure Simon doesn't want to be driving at this time of night. I reached over to my phone and called my mum.

After a long 10 minutes of my mum giving me grief, she allowed me to stay. Not that she wanted me to, but she didn't want Simon to drive me home this late. She pretty much had no choice but to say yes.

I looked over and smiled at him, I jumped back into bed and told him the good news.
"My mum said I could stay, she didn't want me to but at least she knows I'm safe" I said as I pulled the covers over me. Simon then laid next to me and said "I'd rather have you hear with me, to keep you safe and hold you in my arms".

"But what about tomorrow? We have school" I said sounding a little worried. "We'll drive there together" he said as he put his arm around me again.
"But that's awfully risky, what if someone catches us" I said becoming more concerned. "Don't worry, we'll be fine. If something does happen then I'll make up some excuse" he said as he kissed me. My eyes suddenly became very tired and I soon fell asleep on Simon.

*The next day*
Simon drove us both to school the next morning, as we drove up to the car park, I ducked down slightly so no one could see me.
Simon parked up and he looked at me, as I continued to duck.
"You ready?" He asked me as he turned off the engine and got his stuff. We both opened our car doors and I quickly got out, making sure no one could see me.

Once I had walked a bit, I stood up straight and walked through the car park. Simon was walking behind me, he thought it would be best not to walk together, otherwise people may get suspicious. Simon sadly had to go to the classroom to set up for his lesson, so he waved goodbye to me, while I walked in the other direction.

I was sad that I couldn't say goodbye to him properly, but we can't risk anyone seeing us. Just then I bumped into the sidemen, they were standing there and looking at me. They clearly didn't look very happy.

"Hey guys, how's things" I said as I joined their group. "Where have you been?" Josh asked me, his smile disappearing.
"What do you mean? I've been at home" I said as I smiled at them.
"You haven't been recording with us for the past 2 weeks, what's going on? Don't you want to hang out with us anymore?" Ethan said, looking sad.

"Of course I want to, I've been busy lately" I said, trying not to make anything too obvious. "You're lying, you clearly don't want to be part of our group. You make up so many excuses that we don't believe them anymore" Ethan added.

"They're right Olivia, we feel you're distancing yourself from us" Tobi said, looking at me. "I'm not lying to you guys, you're my friends. Also, I'm not making up excuses, I have been busy. Please you need to understand" I said, as I felt myself getting more and more upset.
"We don't know Olivia, we just find it strange how you used to hang out with us all the time and now you've suddenly stopped. It's like something has changed, you've changed." Josh said to me.

At this point tears will filling up in my eyes, I couldn't take this and I ran away from them. They're right I have been lying to them but they can't know anything about my relationship with Simon, I hated lying to them but I have no other choice. I continued to run and soon found myself outside of Simons classroom.

Luckily, school hasn't started yet so I have time to talk to him. I knocked on the door and waited for him to answer.
"Olivia what's wrong?" Simon said as he looked at me. I didn't reply, I just ran into his arms and held him tight. Tears were streaming down my face.

"I've lost my friends, they don't trust me and now they hate me" I said as I cried into his chest. "Shh, it's ok. They don't hate you, they just don't understand that's all" Simon said as he stroked my hair.
"I have no choice, I can't tell them the truth about us" I continued to cry. "Try and hang out with them more, if you spend time with them then they won't become suspicious" Simon said. "You need to make an effort with them that's all, they'll forgive you. Just try not to worry about it" he added.

"Thank you, I will try. I can't lost my friends, they're the only ones I have" I said as I wiped my tears away. "Well I'm always here for you. Now you better be going to class now, you don't want to be late" he said stroking my cheek. "I'll see you later" I said, giving him one last kiss.

Just then we heard a noise from outside the door, the door was swinging and we could hear the noise of footsteps in the distance. Oh no, was someone watching us?
