Chapter 35

"Yes I understand.."

I could hear a voice slowly getting louder as I awoke from my slumber. I opened one eye lid and quickly closed it again when I saw the light from the window.

I turned over and rubbed my eyes, I then opened them and saw Simon standing at the opposite side of the room. He was talking on the phone, that was the voice I heard when I waking up, it felt like a dream. I sat up on the bed and watched as Simon continued to talk on the phone.

"Ok thank you, bye" he said as he ended the call. He turned around and smiled when he saw that I was awake. "Good morning" he said as he walked over to me. He then sat on the bed "sorry did I wake you?" He asked me.
"No you didn't" I said as I returned a smile.
"That was the police station" he then said.

My eyes widened and my heart began to race, I wasn't expecting this. "What did they say?" I asked. "They told me my court date is in 2 days" he said as he looked down at the floor. At the moment, I could feel tears start to form in my eyes. 2 days? That's not long at all.

"2 days? Surely they should give you more notice" I said as I tried to hold back the tears. "That's what I thought, but they don't think that" he said his voice sounding sad and shaky.
"Are you ok?" I asked him as I sat up on my knees and pulled him close. "I just didn't think it was gonna be this soon" he said as I stroked his hair. "It's gonna be ok, we're going back today so we can tell the rest of the guys" I said kissing his forehead.

After that I got up and had a shower, I finished getting dressed and we made our way down to the hotel restaurant to have breakfast.

After we ate breakfast, we made our way back up to our room and packed our bags. It was time to go home, so when gave in our keycard back to reception and got into Simons car.

*Time skip to the house*
We finally arrived back at the sidemen house, we were greeted by Harry opening the door for us and embracing us in a hug. "There's the love birds, did you have a good time?" Josh said as he walked downstairs to greet us. "Yes we did thanks, was a great surprise" I said as we walked into the living to greet the rest of the guys.

"Hey guys" they all said as we walked in. "So tell us the details, what did you get up to?" Vikk asked us. I looked at Simon and he laughed. The others looked confused at our reaction to Vikk's question. "Well Simon took me to a very nice restaurant and then surprised me by staying in a hotel for the night" I explained to the guys. "Yeah Simon told us about that, now tell us the details" JJ said as he laughed to himself.

"That's for us to know and for you to never find out" Simon replied and we all laughed together. "You guys are boring" JJ replied looking annoyed but this caused us to laugh more. After 20 minutes of talking to the guys, it was time to time them about Simons court date.

"I had a call this morning from the police station and they've set a date for court" he explained. "When is it?" Tobi asked with a serious expression.
"2 days" he replied. I could see all the expressions on their faces drop, as Simon said this. "What? That's such short notice, they can't do that" Ethan suddenly said sounding annoyed. "I don't think they really care to be honest, they set the dates and I can't do anything about it" Simon said as he broke eye contact from me. I could tell he was upset and that broke my heart.

"So tomorrow could be my last full day of being a free man" Simon said and this caused all of us to look at each other. "No way, that's not gonna happen" JJ said. "Yeah he's right, you're gonna be fine" Harry added.
"Well we'll have to see won't we" Simon said, I could tell he was putting on a brave face but underneath I could tell he was scared and nervous.

"How about we all do something tomorrow? To help take your mind off it and if the court doesn't go too well, which it won't, then we'll have a great day of memories being all together" Vikk said. The rest of us all looked over at Vikk and immediately smiled. "That's a great idea Vikk" Josh said as he patted him on the shoulder. "Yeah, I'm up for that" Simon said smiling over at Vikk.

"But what should we do?" Ethan asked, we then all looked at each other once again. "I know!" Tobi quickly said jumping up from his seat. "What?" JJ asked looking confused.
"Thorpe park!" Tobi said with a huge grin on his face.
"Yes!" We all shouted as we jumped up from our seats and cheered.

"Great idea man" Simon said giving Tobi a man hug. "I'm so excited" I added smiling uncontrollably.
"So it's settled, tomorrow we go to Thorpe park and have the best day ever" Vikk said as we all joined in with a group hug.

Tomorrow is gonna be so much fun!
