Chapter 4
*Unknown P.O.V*
Mom and Dad just came bursting through the door. Great. They were late, too.
I ran my hand through my slitghtly shaggy dark brown hair and splashed some water on my face.
"Boys!" i heard my mothers soft voice on the intercom that was installed in the house because of how large it was.
I took one last glance at my reflection. And ran out the bathroom door, into my room, and picked up my gray hoodie, and through it on. I sat on the banister, and slid all the way down, earning a dissapriving look from my father. I chuckled, and sat on one of the family room's sofa's, and kicked my feet up onto the coffee table in front of me, and sighed. What was the new news?
My father glanced around, making sure we were all there, and stood up smiling at us. Mom stood up with him with a teary smile, that was so enigmatic to me now, I couldn't tell what was going on the slightest bit. I stiffled a yawn, as it was near 11 pm. But we all were expecting them to make an announcement, they left four hours ago to some unknown, surprise destination, and left us all clueless. We wanted to know what was happening.
"What's up?" I heard a voice question my father. i didn't bother to look who it was.
"Well, your mother and I wanted to inform you on some good news." I glanced hesitantly at my mother, who was smiling so wide, I swear her cheeks would've popped off and floated off like balloons. "Now, this is very importan.." my mother cut off my dad yelling, "Where are having new children!"
We all sat there shocked. They cannot be pregnat again, they are kidding me. I knew it. "Hahaha" i chuckled sarcastically. "Now, tell us the real news." I crossed my arms in front of me, and placed my legs on the ground. "Don't joke with us, you can't be preggie again, mom." i rolled my eyes, disbelievingly.
My parents shot each other questioning looks, before, laughing. More like hyperventalating like hyana's. I wasn't amused with what they were trying to protray here. They can't be pregnant.
"Oh, phew. Wow." my dad whiped away a humourous tear still chuckling. "Okay, one thing, no. We are NOT pregnat with another baby."
I sighed.
"but...."
Oh, no. There is a "but" to this situation.... I stiffened my glance to my mother.
"Honey, we are adopting." she smiled.
Way to drop that bomb gently.
