Chapter 29

Maybe I shouldn't have told Jess. She can't just go on with life without knowing why she really broke up with her. Should I tell her I'm just kidding? No I can't. It's to late.

"I don't wanna go in there." Jess says eyeing zayns house as we park outside.

"We have to." I sigh and get out. I wait a little until I hear a second door slam and want up to his front door. I turn the knob and we step inside.

"Ellie!?" Harry yells and run over to hug me.

"Hey. Where have you been." He says pulling back and then noticing Jess.

"Uh just with Jess." His doesn't say anything but lightly nods. He looks at me with worry in his eyes and I just shake my head.

"Uh where's -" I begin to say but my question is answered by a loud voice coming from the kitchen.

"Hey man? Would you like some popcorn!? I know it's 2 in the morning but I need to get my mind off of..." Zayn trails off as he walks into the living room holding a bowl and some movies, then continues. "Jess."

"I told her." I blurt out. Harry turns to me in awe and Zayn smashes the glass bowl in his hands causing the pieces to fall to the ground and the movies.

"Why would you do that Ellie!? You know why I didn't want her to know! I can't believe you would do this!" He booms walking over the glass towards me with no shoes.

"Because I deserve to know." Jess says walking in front of me to stop zayn. She puts her hands on his chest and his expression softens. His eyes move from mine to hers.

"I just couldn't tell you. I didn't want you to be afraid of me. And you always talk about growing old with someone and having kids. I can't give you that." He says dropping his head towards the ground.

"Zayn I'm not afraid of you. You haven't shown me anything to be afraid of, except how insanely strong you are." Jess says referring to the broken glass. "And yeah maybe I want kids but we can worry about that when the time comes. I just wish you would have told me, instead of just making me leave."

"I know. I only did it to protect you. I'm sorry." Zayn says.

"I know Zayn. I know." Jess says wrapping her arms around his neck and gives him a kiss.

"So does this mean we are back together?" Zayn asks her with smirk.

"Hm I don't know? Are we." Jess says smiling.

"Jess, will you be my girlfriend.. Again?" He chuckles and she nods her head.

"Okay well one more thing." I say as Harry nods.

"What now." Jess pouts.

"So William is a vampire too?" Jess asks with confusion after Harry tells her everything he told me. It still seems so unrealistic. Our boyfriends being vampires, and one actually trying to kill us. I never thought I would be here with Harry but I'm glad to be, vampire or not.

"Yes. But he's not gonna try anything at this moment. He will try to get to know both of you better, but we won't let that happen." Harry says to Jess.

"So what? We can't hangout with him?" Jess says trying to be funny.

"Absolutely not." Harry says taking it seriously.

"Well darn." Jess snaps her fingers with fake sadness in her voice. I chuckle and both Harry and Zayn glare at me. I roll my eyes in return.

We then talk about it some more and I'm surprised how well Jess took this. I'm pretty sure she still thinks we are just playing around with her, but I hope she some what understands. We sit around until it's 3:30 and me and Harry decide to go home.

"Are you gonna stay?" I ask Jess getting off of the couch to follow Harry.

"Yup." She smiles and snuggles deeper into zayn chest.

"Haha, well alright. Call if you need anything." I hug both of them and me and Harry make our way outside.

"She took that well." Harry says holding out his hand while I give him the keys.

"Yeah she did."

"Unlike you." He smirks.

"What do you mean?"

"You went straight for my pants after I told you. She has a lot more control than you do." Harry winks at me and my jaw drops. I can not believe he just said that.

"Omg! Harry!" I say playfully smacking him.

"It's the truth." He chuckles and we climb in the car.

"So?" I huff and slouch in the seat.

"aw! Is little Ellie mad." Harry says pinching my cheek and I can't help but let a smile creep on my face.

"There's that smile!" He cheers and starts to drive off to my house.

"I don't wanna go to school tomorrow." I whine inside my pillow as Harry climbs in next to me.

"Okay, then we won't." He says wrapping his arms around me.

"You're so beautiful." Harry says kissing my neck softly.

"As are you." I whisper turning around and snuggle my face in his toned chest.

"I love you."

"I love you too Harry." I say to him and drift off to sleep.
