Chapter 40

"Well we came home and the door was wide open." Jess says as we walk inside.

"You called me for that?" I ask a little irritated. She looks at me and shakes her head.

"What?" I raise an eyebrow and she points behind me. I spin around and see what she's talking about. I see two young girls dressed in black sitting at Jess's dinner table. Both girls are no doubt beautiful. The one thing that caught my eye, was the blood stains on both if the girls feet that run up to their calves.

"It's rude to stare." The girl with red curly hair says in her think Irish accent. I open my mouth to say something but Harry beats me to it.

"Lena? Erin? What the hell are you doing here?" Harry says slowly standing in front of me. I cower away knowing they aren't friendly if Harry is protecting me.

"Don't flatter yourself love. I've moved on." The girl with chocolate colored skin and long flowing hair speaks to Harry. I don't know if Lena or Erin?

"Clearly I have also Erin." Harry growls, while also answering my thoughts.

"Anyway." The red head snaps and I turn to look at her. "We heard William was back in town." She grins.

"And?" Harry is starting to grow irritated. He glances down at me and I manage a weak smile, only to hear Erin chuckle to the left of me.

"We knew he would be coming to kill you or even her, after what you did Sydni." Erin says eyeing me. I assume the girl Harry and his friends killed was named sydni.

"He won't touch her." Harry growls, gritting his teeth.

"Calm down. We came to let you know that we will be helping you to destroy him. I doubt your too new girl friends are enough for the job" Erin says laughing.

"How'd-" I begin to question her.

"It's not hard to tell you're a blood sucker babe." She glares at me.

"They will be. We haven't begun to train them yet. They can do this." Harry squeezes my waist and looks down at me. Can I do this? Can Jess? I'm honestly deathly afraid of William and I know what he can do. But I don't know if I'm strong enough to stand against him alone if the time comes.

"Doesn't matter. William took Niall from me. I want him gone." Lena says with glossy eyes. She notices the silence in the room and blinks quickly, her intimidating demeanor reappearing.

"Fine. We'll talk about this later. Where are you two staying?" Zayn suddenly speaks up.

"Doesn't matter. We'll know when you need us." Erin speaks for both the girls.

"Great. You can go now." Harry says gesturing to the front door. I jab Harry in the side and scold him.

"If you guys are ready to leave that is?" I smile to the two girls.

"We are." Lena glares at me and swiftly walks to the front of the house.

"Good." I roll my eyes and follow Erin out only to slam the door behind her.

"They aren't very friendly." Jess seems disappointed.

"I assume you two were in a relationship at some point?" I turn my head to look at Harry, sitting on the couch.

"Yes well I think we all know why that ended with in a week." He rolls his eyes. "C'mere." I walk over and sit on his lap while he cradles me.

Harry's POV

"Are you ready to go home?" I ask after we all sit in silence for about 30 minutes. I look down and notice she's already been asleep. I should have known. It's past her bedtime. I smile down at her and laugh.

"I think I should get her home." I whisper to my friends and head outside to my car. I place her inside and jog around to start the drivers side.

She's still asleep when I place her on our-my bed and slip her pajamas on for her. I soon join her in bed and hear a giggle. I look down and Ellie is smiling.

"You're awake?" I question her.

"I have been since you put me in the car." She begins to laugh like a crazy person.

"What's so funny?" I begin to tickle her and she squeals.

"I was just to lazy to put my pajamas on myself." She pouts and I can't help but kiss the tip if her nose. I wrap my arm around her and we lay back down.

"Do you think we could kill him." I hear Ellie's sweet voice in my ear.

"I do indeed. With or without the other girls help. You're strong. Jess to. Maybe just not as strong as you." I say while laughing at the end to make sure she knows I'm joking. She laughs also.

"Ellie. I love you."

"I love you Harry." She snuggles into my chest and I know she begins to drift off and soon I follow.
