IT'S already late when he woke up, parang pinompyang ang ulo niya sa sakit dahil matagal siyang nakatulog kaninang madaling araw. He groaned loudly when he realized that he was still wearing the same clothes he was wearing yesterday. Hindi na niya naisipang magbihis dahil sa pagod at frustrations.

Inaamin naman niyang nainis talaga siya and then he remembers Nica, they are two different people. He who doesn't eat fish and seafoods and she who loves it. Damn that woman! Ilang araw pa nga lang silang nagkakilala pero naiistress na siya ng ganito. Kung bakit ba kasi siya ang naisipan ni Bud na ibigay sa kanya, there are other women out there who are willing to give in with just a smile. Unlike most of his friends he also has his own fair share of women of went in and out of his bed but he is rather discrete about it. Lalaki siya and he have needs and he is quite proud to tell that even though he likes women on his bed he never ignored their needs as well. At wala pa siyang babaeng hindi ginusto na hindi niya nakukuha ang pinakamahabang panahon na may sinuyo siya ay umabot ng isang araw and now here's some frozen heart woman who didn't even try to please him. Kapag sinabi niyang ayaw niya sa isang bagay dati mabilis na sumusunod ang mga babae sa kanya pero si Nica, kakaiba siya.

Nalilito na siya he wanted to have her and he wanted not to have her but he wants to win and winning requires taking her to bed and he wants her to bed. Gusto niyang ipakita dito na siya ang boss at siya ang masusunod. Gusto niyang Makita na nag-iiba ang ekspresyon ng maganda nitong mukha, gusto niyang makitang nahihirapan ito sa sarap and he can do that. That sweet torturoust pleasure. He wants to break that woman's cold façade that would be his greatest achievement so far and after that he will be kind enough to tell her everything. That he only want her to bed and he is not a janitor nor a bellboy and a driver or he can quietly go back to the sea.

But before that he needs to get her number for future purposes.

Tumayo na siya at papasok na sana ng banyo ng magring ang kanyang cellphone. Tinaggap niya ang tawag at agad na napakunot ng noo ng marinig ang boses ni Bud sa kabilang linya. Balak sana niyang hindi ito kausapin pero halatang trip din nito na mang-asar umagang-umaga.

"Hindi kita kapatid Bud, isa lang ang kapatid ko at si ate Xyxy lang iyon."

"Mukhang mali ang gising mo tulog ka ulit."

"Fuck you."

"Sorry dude babae lang ang pinapatulan ko kahit gwapo ka mas gwapo naman ako kaya I decline the offer." Nasapo niya ang ulo niya dahil kumikirot na iyon. "Just kidding Baste, how's the girl."

"May pangalan siya, her name is Nica." Narinig niya ang pagsipol nito sa kabilang linya. "Stop that."

"Her name is Nica, sounds familiar."

"I'll disconnect the call."

"Huwag muna kwento ka muna pare, nakuha mo na?"

"No!" pasigaw na sagot niya dito, there is a sudden annoying feeling when Bud asked him that question.

"Ganyan ka na pala kahina ngayon Baste? Kinakahiya kitang kaibigan pero—sige ipagpatuloy mo lang iyan, alam ko na kasi ang sunod na escapade ko. When I got your yatch."

"I'll win the game, I'll have her at the end of the week."

"Good luck buddy." And he disconnected the call, nasapo nalang niya ang ulo niya. Bakit ba masyadong excited ang taong iyon marami pa siyang araw, he still has four days.
