Shelby

What do I do?

Should I tell them?

No. Not yet.

Liz, Addie and Sasha should be over any minute now.

Speak of the devil, here they are.

I couldn't help but think of Max when I said that.

No, Shelby.

Remember that you don't remember anything.

It's ironic, really.

"Hey guys." I said.

"Hello, Shelby." Addie said, then the other two said their hellos.

"Why'd you call us over here?" Sasha asked, sitting down at a chair next to me.

"I just want to know more about you guys. And me." I said.

It wasn't until I was deep in conversation when I noticed that Liz wasn't talking.

"Liz, are you okay?" I asked.

I knew something was different about her.

But what?

"Yeah." She sniffled. "I'm fine."

Sasha looked at me, then at Liz, then back at me. "So, what else do you want to know?"

"Am I dating anyone?" I asked.

"You were, yes." Addie answered.

"Were?"

"Yeah, I don't know if you still like him or not, since the accident."

"Who is it? What's his name?" I asked.

"His name is Max. He is the tall red head that was in here the other day." Liz said.

"Oh." I said. "Another guy came in here yesterday saying he was my boyfriend."

Everyone shared facial expressions. "What?"

"He said his name was Tyler." I said.

"I don't recall you knowing any Tyler's." Sasha muttered.

"Oh."

"What did he look like?" Addie asked, sitting on the edge of the hospital bed.

"He has brown hair that goes around his head like this." I did a weird motion. "I don't know. He was tall-ish."

"Okay." Liz got up. "We'll ask your cousin, Ross, if he knows any."

"Thank you." I said.

"Au revoir." Liz said.

Everyone shared their good-byes and left.
