Shelby

Max and I walked into the offices only to be greeted by balloons and confetti.

"Eek!" I screeched.

"Welcome back!" A collection of voices said.

"Awe thanks, guys!" I smiled.

"What's the gender?" Tim asked.

I looked over to see Tim and Em holding hands.

I didn't bring any attention to it.

"You guys ready?" Max said.

"YES! MASON NEEDS A FRIEND!" Adam yelled.

I smiled then looked at Max.

"We're having twins!" Max and I both yelled.

Everyone cheered and crushed us in hugs.

"Guys! If you keep hugging me, the twins won't be able to survive."

Everyone laughed.

I looked over at Liz.

Ross and Liz were holding hands.

"Alright, alright." Everyone looked confused.

"What's wrong, Shelby?"

"Max, everything's fine. Take a chill pill." I smiled. "Anywho, what did I miss? Ross and Liz are holding hands, Em and Tim are holding hands." I looked over at Red. "Red and Addie are also holding hands. What the heck did I miss?"

"Yeah. I just noticed that too." Max added.

"I guess we tell you guys somethi-" Red started.

"HOLD UP!" Alesa yelled covering Mason's ears. "Shelby, what is on your finger?"

I nervously touched the ring. "What?"

"Is that? Is that what I think it is?" Alesa asked.

All the girls walked up to me. 

"It IS!" Em yelled.

"Is that why you guys were late?" Addie asked.

"No, we were late because SOMEONE wanted Wendy's when we were about to get to the offices, so I had to turn around." Max held my hand.

"Ooh. Wendy's sounds good right now." Liz said.

I laughed.

"Why is the ring so dirty?" Tim asked.

"Oh yeah. Shelby, care to explain?" Max looked at me, grinning like an idiot.

"So, we didn't actually buy a ring."

"Then what-" Ross started.

"Hush child." I said.

"I'm a year younger than you!"

I shushed him again. "Shh. Max and I looked for a ring in a few stores, but we both didn't like any of them. But we drove home, and I found this ring on the ground, and I love it." I said.

"It's very pretty." Sasha said.

"Thanks. I'm going to go wash it off."

I left to go to the bathroom when I felt a presence near me.

"So, you're getting married and starting a family, eh?"

I shiver went down my spine.
