Chapter 36

Shelby

It was our last full day on the beach until we had to go back to Seattle.

I packed most of my things yesterday, but leaving a swimsuit, PJ's, makeup, and a few outfits on a chair.

Since it was the last day, we were going to do all of the touristy things. 

Except, our way.

The tourist tours are always stupid and take too long, so we're just going to travel without one.

We had two mini vans to travel with today.

Red drove one and Alesa drove the other one.

In the car where Alesa is driving, Cory, Sasha, Addie, Em, and Adam are in that car.

In the car where Red is driving, Tim, Max, Ross, me, and Liz are in that car.

It was split up into two pretty even groups.

In the car where I was, Red sat in the driver's seat, and Liz sat in the passenger's seat.

I was stuck in the back, again, with Max.

Tim was directly in front of me, and Ross was next to him.

All I wanted to talk about was how we past, like, five Taco Bells, but no.

The guys talked about, well, I wasn't really paying attention, so I don't know.

Someone's going to spill the beans on something.

"Can we get food?" I asked leaning up against Max.

He wrapped his arm around me and chuckled. "We just had breakfast."

"But, food."

Tim and Ross laughed.

"Oh yeah, so you and Em." I wiggled my eyebrows.

Tim fake groaned. "What about her?"

"I can see the way you look at her."  Liz said from the front.

I laughed.

"Geez, is it that obvious?" He said.

"Yeah, Em's mentioned it to me a couple of times." I said.

"She has?" Tim sat up. "What'd she say?"

"Well, I can't tell you! It's a violation of the girl code!"

Max laughed. "But you can tell me, right?" 

"Maybe after the wedding." I smiled.

The car suddenly pulled to a stop. "WHAT?" I heard Red yell.

"Was I not supposed to mention anything, or..?" I whispered to Max.

"No, I was going to tell everyone anyway." Max said.

"I swear I heard wedding!" Liz yelled.

"So I'm not crazy!" Red said. "That is what you said, right?"

"Yeah, I guess." I said.

"Where's the ring?" Tim asked grabbing my hand, looking for the ring.

"Max is going to let me choose the ring."

"Awe, that's sweet." Red said nicely. "Now someone please tell me how this happened or I will keep this car here."

"Well, we decided that it would be best for the baby it-"

"BABY?!" Red yelled. "WHAT?! WHEN?! HOW?! What?" Red looked around. "And how are you guys not freaking out?"

I chuckled. "Oh yeah, I forgot that you didn't know about that. But you can't tell anyone." I said.

"Yeah, not until we get home."

"Fine." Red pulled the car out of the shoulder of the road and back onto the highway. "How many other secrets are there? Who else is pregnant? Other that Liz of course." He said.

"Yay, great to be included." Liz said.

I laughed. "Anyway, where are we going?" 

"We are going horseback riding!" Red cheerfully yelled.

We all cheered back.
