"What did she say?" I asked.
"Nothing of importance. Let's focus on the baby." Max looked at me then at the nurse, then back at me. "You ready to hear the gender?" He asked me.
I nodded.
The nurse spoke. "Alright. You have two fetuses in your stoma-
"Wait. What did you say?" Max asked.
"You're having twins." She smiled at us.
"We're having twins." I looked at Max.
Max smiled at me.
"What the gender? Is it two boys, two girls, one boy one girl?"
"You are having a boy and a girl."
I smiled even brighter.
"But, the body isn't formed completely yet, so they could collide into one." The nurse told us.
"That would be kind of weird. One baby would've eaten the other one." I said.
Max chuckled. "I wouldn't word it that way, but yeah. I guess."

Max and I were back in the car.
"What did your ex girlfriend say? And what's her name?" I asked.
"Her name is Vanessa. And can we wait until we get home? Sorry, but I have to focus on driving."
"Fine, but can we go shopping for a ring? I keep getting strange looks because I'm not wearing a ring, but I'm pregnant."
Max nodded. "Of course we can."
He took a sharp left turn and we went to a ring store.
After looking at a lot of rings, we both decided that they all sucked, and we ditched that lemonade stand. (Lol)
We drove to another one, and walked in.
They had potential, but I didn't love any of them.
They were really nice and all, but they weren't for me.
We drove to a final store, and came to a decision. If I didn't find a ring, we would come back another day and stop looking.
We both walked into the shop.
He looked at me. "This is the shop. I know it."
I smiled at him.
Max and I looked at all of the rings, but never found one that we liked.
All the stores basically had the same rings, but a different prices.
Which is, I guess how the system works.
We left the shops.
Yeah, I was disappointed, but I was still going to marry him.
Right?
"So. When do you want to get married?" Max asked me.
"Well, it's almost September now, so maybe fall this year?" I asked.
"That sounds perfect. The baby wouldn't be here yet, which is good. This way, we can be married before the babies get here." Max said.
"Yeah. I still can't believe it. One girl, one boy. It sounds so fake. Like this is all written in a book or something."
Max smiled. But his eyes widened for a quick second but went back to normal. "I just remembered! We have work!"
"Oh! I forgot! Can we stop for food first? I kinda want a cheeseburger."
"Alright." Max said.
We went to Wendy's and I grabbed a Son of Baconator with a large Coke and fries.
In order to get to The Offices, we have to drive around the park.
I saw a quick sparkle in the ground.
And being pregnant, you are always curious as to what everything is.
"Max, can you pull over for a second?" I asked him.
"What's wrong?" Max asked in a panicked manner then quickly pulled over.
"I'm fine. I just want to see something."
I put my food down, and opened the passenger door.
I walked on the grass until I saw the shimmer again.
And like a scene from a movie, I found a ring on the ground.
