I groaned, and looked at my alarm clock.
But, today is when Max and I see the gender of the baby.
Which is fun.
But I don't wanna get up.
The struggle. Is. Real.
I've started to show a lot more.
Which is, well, noticeable.
So I should probably tell my fans.
Or, record a crap-ton of videos.
I'll decide later.

I ran downstairs to see Max standing in the kitchen.
"You excited?" Max asked me.
"Yeah." I grabbed a box of cereal. "Very."
"Can we leave now?" I asked smiling.
"We could, but we'd have to wait at the doctor's office."
Tim walked downstairs.
"Why are you up so early, Tim?" I asked taking a handful of cereal and shoving it into my mouth.
"I'm doing, you know. Things." Tim grabbed a plate. "What are you two doing up so early?"
"We're going to get an ultrasound." Max said happily.
"Ooh! It better be a boy." Tim grabbed himself a plate of chicken nuggets and put it in a microwave.
"Me too. I really want a boy." I said taking another handful of cereal.
"Really? I kind of want a girl." Max said.
I looked at him like he was crazy. "I would've thought that you'd want a boy."
"Anyway," Tim said. "When is your appointment?"
"In..." Max looked at his phone. "an hour. Shelby, do you want to leave now and grab food on the way?"
I nodded and grabbed my phone. "Bye, Tim! Have fun doing whatever you were talking about."
He gave us a quick wave then sat at the counter space.

After a car ride of happy moments and squeals, mainly from Max, we were at the doctor's office.
Max and I were going to be a few hours late for work, but so was almost everyone else.
It was only Adam, Red, Ross, Tim and Barney at work on time.
I sat down on the comfy blue chair, only to realize that I looked huge while sitting down.
"What the.."
"Ha. You can't lean forward." Max said laughing.
"I'll show you. I will freaking kick you in the-"
"Ms. Grace?" A man called.
I looked at him and grabbed Max's hand.
The nurse led us towards a room in the back.
"Go ahead and sit on the chair, Ms. Grace. The doctor will be here soon." He left the room.
"Do you have any ideas for names, Max?" I asked him.
"Kinda. For a boy, I like the name Gabriel, which can be Gabe for short. I like those types of names because Gabe is a cool name for a child, but when he grows up he can be Gabriel. Some other ones are: Alexander, Bradley, and Zachary." Max kept his eyes on me. "What about your names for boys?"
I looked in my memory. "I like Josh, Spencer, Finn and Jake."
"Jake from Statefarm?" Max asked me smiling.
"Idiot." I smiled. "What do you think for a girl's name?" I asked him.
"I like the names: Gabriella, Mia, and Ella."
"I like those too. But some names that I were thinking of were: Aria, Jordyn, Maya, and Scarlett."
"I love the name Scarlett. I could call her 'Car' for short."
"You absolutely will not be doing that." I smiled.
The doctor walked in. "Hello, I am Mrs. Kreppsoer."
"Hi." I said quietly.
"So, how this works is I grab the ultrasound gel, and I put it on your stomach. Okay?"
I nodded.
She raised my shirt a little bit and put the, very cold, gel on my tummy.
I smiled.
Max was holding my hand the entire time and looking at me.
I smiled at him, and he smiled at me.
Max got his phone out and put it to his ear.
"It'll only be a minute."
Max turned around and left the room.
The nurse kept looking at the screen for a few minutes.
"Do you know what gender it is?" I asked.
She nodded. "I'll wait to share the news when he comes back." She smiled at me.
I looked at the door and I saw the door open.
Max's face was red.
"Max, what's wrong?"
"It was my old girlfriend."
I just realized Max was crying.
"The one who cheated on me with Brian." He said.
