Shelby
I looked up to see Max, tears falling from his eyes.
I hated for him to find out this way.
I stopped the car and jumped out.
"Max.." I said.
He stood up and looked at me.
"How far along are you?" He wiped away a tear.
"Just about 3 months." Tears falling down my face as well.
"Who's the father?"
"That's why I didn't tell you." I let the tears fall to my face. "I don't know."
"That makes it better." Max looked at the ground, then back at me. "How many people have you cheated on me with?"
"I haven't cheated on you."
"LIES!"
I jumped back.
"HOW DO YOU EXPLAIN THE BABY?" He yelled.
"I-I don't know." I looked down.
"How do you not know?"
"Max, please!"
"When were you going to tell me?"
"I-I-"
"Was I ever enough for you?" Max's voice cracked.
"You know I love you-"
"Don't start with that." He looked away.
"Max, please!" I begged. "I don't know who the father is because I haven't slept with anyone!"
Max turned back. "What?"
"I know as much about this baby as you do."
"Okay, okay. We'll go to the doctor and see who the father is." Max said.
"If you do that, there's a big chance of a miscarriage." I hesitated. "I want to know who the father is, but I love this baby already, and I don't want to lose it."
Rain started to fall.
Ross was nowhere to be found.
"Max, I love you, and even if you're not the biological father, maybe you could be the baby's new father?"
Max quickly nodded and smiled.
I was still crying, but you couldn't tell because the rain completely covered me.
Max's hair was not laying flat on his face.
"Your hair looks stupid." I smiled and fixed it.
Max grabbed my hand.
"No one touches my hair." Max smiled as well.
He leaned in and so did I.
While we were kissing, I slowly reached my hand into his hair to try and fix it.
He caught me.
"Is it that bad?"
"You look like your 13 year old self."
"How do you know what I looked like when I was 13?"
"It's called stalking. Liz is amazing at it." I said.
"Speaking of Liz..." Max drifted off.
Oh no.
"You didn't!" I said.
"Yeah, he knows."
"This is why you're never drinking again."
"How is he?" I asked.
"I have no idea. I think he's fine, because he came back out to talk to me. Your makeup is smearing." Max told me.
"It's fine." I smiled yet again.
"Let's go get everyone else and bring them into the car." Max said.
I nodded and walked inside, holding Max's hand.
"Alright guys, in the car." I said.
Someone that I didn't know walked up to us.
"Not you." I held my finger up.
He turned around and muttered, "Dangit Larry, you always do this..."
I smirked and watched as the guys walked out of the door, Tim stopping.
"You both good?" He asked.
"Yeah. How's Ross?"
"He's good. I think he's happy to get home so he can celebrate with Liz."
I smiled. "Well, that's good."
It was easier than I thought to get 6 drunk men into a car.
And with all of that drama, I drove the guys home.
