Talex - Concert

(A/N: This is my favorite band and I saw them live a little while ago and holy shit they're amazing!! It's probably not Tobin's typical style, idk, but this is like my dream date so just go with it;)

Alex surprises Tobin by taking her to see her favorite band 'PVRIS' live.

"Pleaseee tell me where we're going." Tobin whined, pretending to hate that she didn't know what was about to happen. Secretly she loved it, and Alex knew that.
Alex had planned the perfect date, like an early birthday present for her girlfriend. She knew how heartbroken Tobin had been for not getting tickets to see PVRIS, but what she didn't know is that Alex managed all on her own. She had also fixed another surprise that hopefully would turn out great.

"I don't wanna ruin the surprise, babe." Alex smiled, looking forward to seeing Tobin's reaction when she found out.
"I hate you." Tobin joked, a smile creeping on her lips. Alex laughed and pulled her whiny girlfriend in for a kiss. Tobin gladly accepted.
"Love you, too." Alex soda back, earning a grin in return from the midfielder.

"We're here." Alex stopped right around the corner of the arena, knowing Tobin would get it the second they did. She had taken a different way than usual, in hope of confusing the other girl. It's a small stage, seeing as the band is not that well known yet. So far she seemed oblivious to what was happening.
"Okay. So what now?" Tobin asked, looking around the empty place. Alex tried holding in her huge grin, but it was impossible at this point. She needed to tell her.
"Tobin, you know what's happening here tonight?" Alex asked, and turned Tobin around so she could see the arena.
The eyes of the midfielder shot wide and a huge grin spread on her face.

"No way." She said excited, and turned to look at Alex. "You did not." Tobin added, jumping to hug her girlfriend.
"Alex, omg thank you. This is the best ever." She continued, sounding like an excited teenager about to see her idols.
Alex was well aware that Tobin had a huge crush on the lead singer, but it was okay seeing as even Alex had to admit she was hot.
"I wanted to give you something special. I hope this will do." Alex smiled, loving seeing Tobin so happy. It was her favorite thing.

The couple locked hands and walked off into the stadium, after Tobin had calmed down. Alex took care of the tickets and practical stuff, while Tobin prepared for what she had wanted for so long. To see her favorite band live.

"Thank you all for coming out! You've been awesome." Lynn Gunn, the lead singer shouted into the microphone, but Tobin didn't want it to end. It had been the best night of her life.

"Before we go, I got a tweet a couple days ago and I gotta say I for sure fangirled hard when I read it." Lynn continued, now spiking the curiosity in Tobin.
"We have some World Champs in the crowd today, and I gotta say it's an honor." As Lynn spoke the words, Tobin looked over at Alex. The smile on the forwards face were enough to revile who the singer was talking about.
Tobin felt herself at the she of happy tears.

"Give it up for soccer stars Tobin Heath and Alex Morgan!" Lynn continued, now causing an explosion in the crowds. Apparently there's some soccer fans here tonight as well.
"If you girls don't mind, I would love to meet you backstage after. Just walk in, the security will know who you are." The singer ended with a playful tone.

Tobin was in shock. Alex put her arm around the midfielder and shook her a little bit.
"You okay?" Alex laughed, looking at the started girl next to her.
"Alex. This is insane. We're gonna meet them. I can't even-" Tobin was at a loss of words.
It made Alex chuckle, and she definitely felt good about how it turned out. All she needed to do now, was prevent Tobin from fading.

"I can't do it. I don't- I'm gonna make a completely fool out of myself." Tobin refused to walk through the door after the concert. She was overly excited, but also terrified.
"Toby, it'll be fun. Come on." Alex tried encouraging, and it seemed as if it helped.
Tobin took a deep breath and let Alex guide her though the doors.

"Tobin, Alex! Thank you so much for coming. I'm a huge fan." Lynn, the most flawless human being Tobin had ever seen, except from Alex obviously, friendly greeted them.
Tobin internally died over the fact that she knew her name.
"Thank you, the show was amazing." Alex spoke first, seeing as Tobin was mostly just staring for the time being.
"We're huge fans as well. Tobin here loves your stuff." Alex continued, pulling Tobin's hand a little to wake her from the shock.
Lynn smiled widely at the comment, looking at Tobin now as she was trying to say something.

"I- yes! Huge fan." Tobin managed to blurt out, and it made them all smile. It wasn't like Tobin to be like this, and it amused Alex.

"Tobin Heath and Alex Morgan. Wow." Brian, another member of the band now joined them, and Tobin again couldn't hide her excitement.
"You weren't kidding." Justin, the drummer, now added with a smile, and Tobin was over the top excited about seeing them all.
"That goal you scored in the World Cup final, world class. You guys dominated that whole tournament." Justin continued, clearly knowing what he was talking about.
"Thank you, seriously, it means so much hearing you say that." Tobin smiled thankfully, getting warmed up to the presence of her favorite band. The whole segment was like taken straight out of a fan fiction she thought, too good to be true.

"I'm sorry to interrupt, but you have a flight to catch." A guy looked at the band, pointing to his watch as he spoke.
Brian nodded, while waving him away.
"Okay, we'll have to to cut it short. But it was great meeting you, really an honor." He spoke, and the words just didn't make sense in Tobin's mind. It was an honor for her.
"If you're ever near by our show sometime, just let us know and we'll get you VIP for sure." Lynn added, smiling at the soccer players.
"Thank you so much, we'll definitely take you up on that." Alex said back, looking over at Tobin who had the biggest grin on her face.

"Do you mind taking a picture before you go?" Brian asked, holding up his phone.
"Of course not! I'd love one myself." Tobin said eager, and took out her own.
"Allow me." The guy from before stepped back into the room, and grabbed both the phones. He hinted us to stand closer and we all posed for the picture.
"You mind a selfie?" Lynn smiled towards Tobin, and held up her own phone after it was done with the group picture.
Tobin couldn't hide her excitement as she eagerly nodded, not using words in fear of not being in control of her voice.

Lynn put her arm around midfielder and held her phone up in front of them. Tobin smiled widely, knowing it would clearly show how excited she were in the picture, but didn't care. "Make sure you send me that." Tobin said, smiling at the singer.
"Will do!" Lynn smiled back, now looking like she was for sure fangirling herself.

The group said their goodbyes and the soccer players left the building. Tobin could not wipe the smile off her face.
"I can never thank you enough for this, Alex. I love you so, so much." Tobin stopped and turned Alex towards herself. She looked I tot he eyes of her girlfriend as she spoke.
"It was my pleasure. I'm glad you enjoyed it." Alex smiled back, satisfied. She had enjoyed herself as well, seeing as she too is a fan of the band. But mostly because she loves seeing Tobin so happy.

"Alex, look!" Tobin had taken up her phone, and was smiling excited towards it. She held it up and showed Alex what was on the screen.

lynngvnn: San Diego, you've been amazing! We had some special guests in the audience tonight! Thanks for coming out, TobinHeath. (Yes, I'm internally screaming)

Alex read the Instagram post from Lynn, and smiled widely. Tobin couldn't contain her excitement at all, jumping up and down as Alex tried reading the phone.
"She used our selfie!" Tobin said excited, knowing this was by far one of the best nights of her life thanks to Alex. With exception maybe of you know, winning the World Cup.
