Ben stretched his sore legs and back. The pain made him smile because it was a heavenly reminder of what happened last night. The moment they got back from their picnic dinner, they were all over each other. He was treated to the best blowjob he's ever had and, of course, he returned the favor that led into some fantastic sex.
As he finished stretching, he heard something...wonderful. Heavenly. It sounded like an angel singing. He got up and threw on his loosely fitting pajama bottoms, before following the voice out of the bedroom.
He yawned and scratched his bare chest as he walked down the hall and into the kitchen. He smiled when he saw his girlfriend standing at his stove, in his shirt, cooking him breakfast as she sang, "He never walks away, he never asks for money, he takes care of me, he loves me. Piece by piece he restored my faith, that a man can be kind and a father could...stay."
The biggest smile lit up on his face as he leaned up against the wall and watched her. It was early in the morning, very early, but she seemed as awake as ever. Once she got to humming the tune, rather than singing it, he made himself known by saying, "You could cure the deaf."
Cassie jumped and spun around. She let out a deep breath and said, "Jesus, you scared me." He walked over to her as he said, "Sorry. Come here, you." He took her by the hips and pulled her to him. He pressed a sweet kiss to her lips.
"You have a beautiful voice," he said against her lips. "What song was that?" She bit her lip with a small smile and said, "It's just a little something I made up. I didn't wake you, did I? I just wanted to make sure you had something to wake up to when I left, so I was starting on some eggs."
He looked over and smelled the delicious scent of the eggs. "I wouldn't want to wake up to anything else. Besides, how were you expecting to get home? I drove, remember?" She shrugged and told him, "Call a cab?" He chuckled and kissed her head.
"Silly girl, I'll be driving you. In the meantime, let's eat. You worked me an appetite last night." They ate their breakfast, then got her things together. Unfortunately, during their shower, things got a little...heated...and Cassie was already running late for school.
Ben drove her as fast as he could over to the school and gave her a quick kiss goodbye, before she bolted into the school. She ran to her classroom and sighed in relief when she saw Anna taking over her class.
"And so that...oh, look it's Ms. Hansen!" Anna cheerfully announced with a sly look on her face. Cassie huffed out a laugh and quickly set her bags down by her desk. "Sorry, sorry, I am so sorry!" She apologized. "Traffic was awful."
Anna raised her eyebrows at her with a big smirk on her face. "Yes," she said, "that pesky traffic. Well, I was just continuing your lesson from yesterday on Earth Science. I was following your schedule." Cassie gave her a smile and said, "Thank you. I'll see you after school."
She walked Anna out, then turned to her class. "Okay," she breathed, "let's continue."

After school, Anna and Cassie were walking out of the school at almost five o'clock with their arms locked together. Anna was driving Cassie home, since she didn't take herself. "So," Anna said, as they walked to her car, "I was thinking."
They unlocked their arms and each went to the car doors. "Uh, oh," Cassie said, while looking to Anna over the car. Anna rolled her eyes with a smile. "It's nothing bad," she said. They both slid into the car, then buckled up.
Anna continued, "I was thinking that you could bring Ben to Roger and I's engagement party. He's finally going to be home long enough for us to have one. It's in a few weeks, but...yeah, I think you should bring him."
Cassie let out a nervous chuckle, then looked out the window at the trees and housing moving along. "I don't know, Anna," she sighed. She looked over to her friend, then said, "We've only been doing this for a few months...I think a wedding might be too soon."
"Well, it's not your wedding, dumbo!" Anna laughed. "It's mine and I want my maid of honor there with her hunky, sexy new boyfriend! Please?" Cassie laughed and told her, "Alright, alright! I'll ask, but don't expect anything."
Once Cassie was home, all her focus was on grading. She didn't get to start last night because Ben proved to be a distraction...a welcome distraction...but since it was Friday, she decided to pull an all-nighter, so she could have a free day to do whatever she wanted tomorrow.
It must have been three hours since she started; her hand flying across papers, her eyes glued to the answer sheet, then glued to the answers her student gave her, some being wrong, some being right. She hasn't eaten, she's only drank her tea and coffee.
As she was writing down a comment in one section of the test, she heard large footsteps running up the stairs. Startled by the sudden noise, she looked to her bedroom door right in time for it to open to her boyfriend.
"Ben," she said with a smile. "What are you doing here?" He came all the way in, then shut her door. He had a couple bags in his hand and as he set them down on her bed, he said, "Well, you never answered my texts about going out to dinner, so I figured you must be grading, which means...you haven't eaten. So, I brought dinner to you."
He pulled out a couple of cartons of Chinese food and set them next to her on her desk, along with chopsticks and a fortune cookie. Cassie looked up at him with a smile and said, "Thank you. This is exactly what I need."
Ben leaned down and pecked a kiss to her lips. "It's my pleasure," he told her. "Do you need help? I can take half of that mountain of papers if you'd like." Cassie was opening one of the carton's as she said, "Oh, you don't have to do that. You don't need to suffer through this."
He chuckled, "I won't suffer. Come on, give me some." She handed him a good chunk of the stack and he made himself comfortable on her bed. "Do you have a red pen?" He asked. She handed him a green pen, then said, "I don't believe in grading in red pen. These kids think red is a negative color, so I try to use positive ones like purple or green or blue."
"That's smart," he said, "so they don't think the grade or comments you make are negative, but positive reinforcement." She nodded and said, "Exactly! Even though they don't know what that is, their brains process it that way. And any comments I put, if it's negative, I try to put something positive after. For example, I'll tell them something was spelled wrong, but tell them how it was good they tried and that they'll get it next time."
Ben smiled and nodded. "I'll be sure to do that, then." They both sat in silence and graded papers, each taking that small break to take a bite of their food, but ended up grading all through the night. When Ben had finished his stack, he'd get up and take another. Between the two of them, they got done just after midnight.
Cassie stretched her arms up, then turned to look at Ben. He was fast asleep on her bed with a nice stack of papers next to him. She smiled and went over to him, taking the papers and setting it on her desk. When she went back over to him, she sat down on the bed and gently ran her fingers through his hair.
"Ben," she softly called. "Ben, wake up." He groaned and furrowed his eyebrows, before slowly opening his eyes. "You fell asleep, silly," she lightly giggled. He huffed out a laugh, then asked, "Can I stay here tonight?"
She nodded and told him, "Of course. I have some oversized pajamas if you want them." He shook his head, then started to pull her down on top of him. "I just want you," he said into her hair, once her head was on his chest.
She fell into, yet another, great night of sleep.
