"If you can all put away your history books and take out your science books, we're going to be going over cells today." Some of the class groaned, while the others cheered and it made Cassie smile. She loved winter break and her's and Ben's vacation was everything she could have dreamed, but being back made her incredibly happy.

She opened her teacher's textbook, then started writing some definitions on the board for the class to copy down. As she was doing that, her classroom door opened to Anna. Cassie glanced over, then went back to writing as she said, "Hey, Anne. What's up?"

Anna was trying to suppress a smile as she said, "Um...well, Ben's here to see you." By the time Cassie looked at her, Anna had a calm demeanor. She almost looked serious. "He said he wouldn't bother you if it weren't important." Cassie suddenly felt worried.

Was he okay? Was the house okay? Did his meeting not go as expected? He's been nervous because he's turning in new designs today. Maybe it went better than expect? She didn't know!

"Uh-um, okay, class...read pages fifty-three to sixty and copy down the definitions on the board. Anne, would you mind watching them for me?" She nodded and told her, "Of course! He's waiting on the playground for you." The playground? Cassie thought. What could possibly be on the playground?

Either way, she put on her coat and walked out until she reached the playground. Ben was there, but he had his back to her and was on the swings. "Ben?" She called. He quickly turned to her, then got up. "Hey, baby," he said with a wide smile.

He jogged up to her, then brought her in for a hug. "Hey," she greeted. "What's going on? Is everything okay?" He let out a light huff, then said, "Yeah, um...look, there's something I need to talk to you about. She looked at him oddly and asked, "You couldn't talk to me during breakfast this morning or in the shower?"

He thought for a moment, then said, "Well, no. Breakfast wasn't the right time and my mouth was occupied with something else, if you recall." She blushed at the memory, but quickly shook it away and asked, "So this is the right time? When I'm working?"

Smiling, he nodded and told her, "Yes. This is something I've been wanting to do for sometime...a long time, actually...and I was going to do it on our anniversary, but that didn't seem right, either. So, I talked to Anna, got her advice on a small idea I had to ask you."

She quirked an eyebrow and said, "Well, what's this small idea?" Smirking, he looked up above her head. Very slowly, she turned to follow his gaze. What she saw made her gasp and clap her hands over her mouth. Tears were building up in her eyes as she saw her students lined up against the windows inside, each with letters that spelt out;

Will you marry me?

Anna, who was holding the question mark, was smiling like a loon.

"Ben," Cassie gasped, "oh my god, I--." She turned around to see him down on one knee and holding out a ring. He was smiling shyly and asked, "What do you say?" She let out a laugh through her tears, then said, "I say...this is one of those things I don't need to think about. Yes, Ben, I will marry you."

He let out a biggest breath of relief and started laughing. He put the ring on her finger, then scooped her up in his arms and spun her around. They could hear the kids cheering from the classroom as they kissed each other into oblivion.

When they pulled back, Cassie panted, "Holy shit, we're getting married." Ben chuckled and brought her in for another kiss, before saying, "I love you. I love you." She nodded, "I know. I know." They kissed again and again, until their jaws were sore.

Eventually, Ben set her down, but then brought her in for a hug. "Fucking hell, I am so happy," he cried. "Can I take you home? Please? I really need be with you right now." She looked up at him and brought his face down to hers. "Take me home, Mr. Cumberbatch," she told him.

He smiled widely and said, "Absolutely, Mrs. Cumberbatch."

"Mum, you'll never believe what's happened!" Ben excitedly said into the phone as Cassie watched in amusement. "No, no it's nothing bad! Cassie and I are getting married!" He laughed and put his mother on speaker so Cassie could hear her shout in excitement.

"Oh my goodness! Oh my goodness, Ben! I am so happy! Tim! Timothy, come here the news!" Ben and Cassie were practically on the floor laughing. "What?" They could hear Tim say. "Dad," Ben said, "Cass and I are getting married."

It was Tim's turn to react, but not as much as Wanda. "Ben, my boy! I am absolutely chuffed! When did you propose?" Ben looked to the clock and said, "Not an hour ago. Bloody hell, I am over the moon!" He pulled Cassie in for a kiss, but as soon as he pulled away, she brought him back down for another.

"Mum, dad, we'll call you later," he said as she started kissing down his neck, "perhaps we can Skype." He bit his lip to suppress a moan when Cassie ran her hand over the front of his jeans. Before his parents could say their goodbyes, he hung up. "Good god, woman, are you that excited?"

She looked up at him with a wide smile and said, "I honestly have never been more excited or happy about anything in my entire life. I knew this was coming and I thought I would have to think on it, but as soon as I saw that sign, I knew I didn't have to. That just heightens my excitement."

Ben ran his hand over her hair and cupped her jaw. "I fucking love you," he told her. "I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with you." They shared a sweet kiss, but then Ben pulled back and said, "Alright, now for the hard part...telling your mother."
