That night we all slept on the sleeping bags they brought to us. Let me tell you, it was really uncomfortable.

I woke up around 7:00 in the morning. I couldn't sleep. I don't know where my parents are and that worries me. I don't know why, but I just started crying. Like I'm not sad for some reason, but I'm crying. I soaked up my tears and got up. I went to the bathroom. It's definitely not the one back home and the toilets not exactly clean.
I looked back at my reflections. I started singing out random lyrics. I mean to keep myself busy til someone wakes up. I'm not just going to stand here thinking!
When have I ever think~thank...thought. Whatever.

"I stared at my own reflection
This was I see.
Something broken.
Just a piece of me.
I take someones hands
I hold it close to mine.
I see everything in line.
I looked back. Into my shadows.
Everything. Seemed to slow.
I just..feel cold.
With no one. To hold close.
I pray up to God. To let him know.
Tell me when. This story unfolds.
Then I'll know. When it ends."

I start to laugh of how horrible that was, but hey that was improve.

This time I start with some more joyful.

"Music's always up, always up on the stereo
We don't even know where we should go, should, should go.
All us California kids, listenin' to country
Got a summer job, trying to make a little money
Livin' out life, carefree like we should be, should be, should be."

This was a little better.

"DANI! THAT WAS AMAZING!" Alex exclaims.
"SHHHHH!!' They're all sleeping!.
"But Dani! That was amazing!"
"I heard you the first time!"
"Are you going to tell Christina?"
"Please I'm not even talking to her."
Alex gave me a look that said "Really?"
"Stop looking at me with that face!" It's really creepy, trust me.
"Then tell Christina."
"She's not going to approve." I already got rejected twice.
"Yeah she will."
"Like you said the last 2 times. I failed."
"3rd's the charm!"
"No it's not."
"Atleast talk to her?" He looked at me with puppy dog eyes.
"y-NO." I smiled sweetly at him and pushed him past the door.

I plop my butt on the couch and did exactly nothing.

"BREAKFAST!" Someone yelled outside.
They pushed in a lot of plates, but only Alex and I were awake.

We both gathered all of the plates and put them on the table.
There were ants and other things I do not feel comfortable explaining, but let me tell you it's rated R.

Anyways we took the ones that looked most yummiest, but it wasn't a lot of varieties. It was just either cereal, oatmeal, or nothing.
Something is better than nothing.

We ate trying to ignore the digusting aroma.
The others gradually began to wake up and I high-fived myself in my brain because first, I used one of my vocab words, "Gradually" and I don't have to take the test I have back home.

They all groaned when they saw the food that was given.

"So we're suppose to eat and then we can't brush our teeth?" Mike asked and smelled his breath.

"We're being held captive, that's the least of our worries." Christina reply.

Alex nudges me.

I shake me head in response.

I don't want to get embarrassed.

Life's already a handful and as Christina said "That's the least of our worries"

True.

Where's the home sweet home I use to know?
