Poetry, what is your definition, your thoughts? My definition, well... Poetry is a message hidden with in a code, when you gain enough knowledge and wisdom you can figure out that code, the message you get when you decipher the code is when you know what that poem means, to you, not what others think it means, you gain a knew understanding when you read a single poem each time. This is why I would never do something as simple and complicated as explain a poem, to anyone, because it would simply make it less enjoyable and knowledgeable and it is more enjoyable/knowledgeable when you truly listen to the message and decipher the code a poet gives you. I still can not decipher a lot of poetry I've read, but I will strive to understand them, when the time comes, I will.
