~Chapter 21~

Word had got around that Teddy Lupin was roaming the halls as security pretty quickly. It wasn't that big a surprise to Albus or his family members; as many people that walk the halls of Hogwarts you rarely saw a full grown man dressed in dark jeans and leather with bright green hair strolling about.

Albus had told him he was making himself a little too obvious; that the least he could do was change his hair to a normal color (or back to his usual blue). Teddy of course rejected the idea, saying he "had a reputation to uphold around the corridors".

He wasn't wrong though. Teddy Lupin was quite the legend when it came to Hogwarts attendees. The chaos he used to cause, the same type of shenanigans he basically mentored Roxanne in, during his time there would certainly make any Weasley proud.

That's part of the reason George Weasley entitled his help with the joke shop.

Knowing all this it was easy for Albus to see the type of influence Teddy was having over the Hogwarts students much to Headmistress McGonagall's dismay.  Girls of all ages were giggling and fawning over him, including Madam Pomfrey from the Hospital wing who swore he was just "the darnest thing to walk these halls since his father". How that was a compliment Albus didn't know but he chose not to ask.

Teddy even seemed to have an influence on the boys at Hogwarts as well; most of all Phaethon and Lysander of the Scammander twins. The Slytherin Hufflepuff duo practically fell at Teddy Lupin's feet as he told them about his interests in punk rock music and how intriguing it is that muggles seem to have the best bands in the genre. He told them how he's dragged Victorie to any and every concert he could find back when they were younger and even now sometimes when they find a sitter for the baby.

Both Phae and Lysander took to every word Teddy said and days later Albus found himself staring at the most ridiculous thing he's ever seen.

"Please tell me this isn't permanent." He snorted from the large black sofa in the Slytherin common room. He and Scorpius were supposed to be doing their DADA homework but they both agreed they could finish that up later.

It was Friday after all.

Scorpius sniggered to himself as the watched Phaethon come bounding down the boys dormitory stairs, his hair dyed a two-toned jet black and blueish grey and dark eye makeup around his light blue orbs.

"Well? Hot right?" He grinned doing a little pose causing the studded leather jacket to rise a bit.

"You look like you've just discovered Halloween Phae. Seriously." Albus rolled his eyes as Scorpius continued to silently laugh, tears pouring out of his eyes.

"Psh! You're just jealous you can't pull this look off Potter!" Phae sassed back.

"You got me there; guess I won't try it now."

"I just....why mate? Why!?" Scorpius quiet laughter turned into a full roar as he fell off the sofa.

"Because I'm making a statement! Who needs rules anyway!" Phae shouted raising a hand in the air and making some sort of awkward hand signal with his pointer finger and pinky.

"I bet you four sickles he's done with this by the end of the weekend." Scorpius, finally done laughing, looks up at Albus from the floor.

"Deal." Albus shrugged as they both ignored Phae's outcry about how horrible friends they were.

"Do you three always have to be so loud...what's...going on here then?" Emelie enters the room eyes trained on Phaethon's appearance.

"He's been listening to Teddy's punk rock nonsense again." Albus scoffed.
