~Chapter 23~

-Dedicated to charlottemuldowney because she gave me B on the last chapter since there was no Crode/Nami moments (lmfao) Her whole comment made my day when I read it-

"There's no way that really happened..."

"It totally happened! I saw it with my own eyes. Ivy and Melina going head to head in the middle of Hogsmeade."

"No way! Who won?"

"Melina of course! Ivy doesn't have the heart to hurt a fly."

It was Monday again and things were becoming loud so early already. No one had seen Ivy since that Friday in Hogsmeade and Rose was becoming slightly worried about it. Every time she attempted to visit their dormitory in Gryffindor tower Lacey and for some reason that Fleetlyn girl that Rose had a undying distaste for would prevent her from going in.

"She's not feeling well." The Slytherin would say and Rose would narrow her eyes at the girl because since when was she so loyal to Ivy Thomas.

"Don't you have friends of your own to be with? Like my cousin for example." Rose tried to level the agitation in her voice that Saturday afternoon but to no avail. What made her even madder was the stupid little smirk that came on her face. She did not like this girl at all but she honestly didn't know why. Emelie, however, knew exactly why and decided she would learn to have a little more fun as promised.

"Now that you mention it; Scorpius did ask to hang out later..." she said pretending to be full of thought.

"S-so why aren't you with him then!" Rose needed to cool down, it wasn't a secret she had her mothers brains but it was also known that she inherited the famous Ronald Weasley temper too. Students got a look of that during their second year.

"I can just go see him after; I like to keep my men waiting a while...keeps them on edge." Emelie shrugged with an evil grin. She was not sorry to say she actually was having fun with this. Nami had mentioned she was getting tired of Rose not admitting her feelings and Emelie just might have found a way to drag it out of her. Rose on the other hand was steaming at the phrase "my man" being used by the darker haired girl referring to Malfoy.

Why? She still had no idea; but even thinking about it now, sitting at breakfast on Monday, it still made her blood boil. She hadn't talked to Scorpius since Friday either as not to draw attention to the two of them, especially with Teddy lurking around every corner.

"Hey Rose." Lily says plopping next to her cousin at the Gryffindor table. It wasn't even questionable for Rose to sit there with them anymore. "Are you okay? You look very....angry..."

"Hmm what? No of course not why would I be?" Rose replied almost instantly. Lily raise a brow at her elder before eyeing the crushed uneaten pastry caught in her grip. Rose glanced down at her own hand dropping the crumbled pieces with a nervous laugh while dusting off her hands.

"That wasn't anything! I was just not hungry for it that's all."

"Then what didja pick it up for? Kind of a waste no?"

"How are you this morning Lily." Rose changes the subject anxiously. She take in the younger girl's appearance noting that she looked just as happy and free form as she always did. Big smiles, styled hair, and her favorite pet owl attached to her shoulder.

"Oh I'm fine. Still a tad lonely though since my original crew is gone at the moment."

"What? The kids put under the sleep draught still aren't awake yet? That's abnormal."
