~Chapter 22~

"Well well, look who it is." Flynn Finnigan snarled toward the entrance of the joke shop. It was packed with students from Hogwarts as well as a few other people from Hogsmeade Village just glancing around. Teddy stood at the top balcony with a wide grin admiring the work he's done and anticipating how proud George will be when he hears about it. He was accept as the Weasley's business partner a long time ago when Ron went to work for the ministry leaving George to run his and Fred's legacy on his own. Once Angelina got pregnant he searched for a little help to balance out work and home life and Teddy, once he was old enough, was a prime candidate according to Harry and Ginny who'd received one too many letters home about Teddy's mischievous behavior at school.

"Get bent Finnigan," Lacey growled back. "We have just as much right to be here as you do." Emelie, Ivy, and Lacey had just entered the shop after a delicious and humorous dinner. The night seemed to be going so well; that was until they ran into Flynn and his group which not so surprisingly included James.

"Oh hey guys!" Lily smiled popping up from behind a few shelves, her brother trailing behind her. Ivy and James made brief eye contact creating a very awkward atmosphere.

"Awwwkward." Lily coughed and Lacey rolled her eyes with a grin before grabbing Lily by the hand and wandering off talking about love potions.

Emelie, unsure what to do exactly, smoothly bypassed the other group and ventured off on her own to have a look around the shop. James eyed Flynn who caught the hint and reluctantly walked away as well, throwing one last grimace at the last girl standing. Ivy watched him walk off before her eyes landed on James once again. She nervously gave a nod and walked around him in search of something interesting until Lacey was done shopping.

She hadn't really planned on buying anything for herself here.

She eventually came across a very violent pink display that reminded her of Madam Padfoot's cafe and she instantly cringed a bit.

Of all the pinks in the world it was a rather horrid shade.

Even so she found that the display held most of the Hogwarts female student body, including Lacey and Lily. She assumed this was where the love potions must be. Ivy hesitantly picked up a small heart shaped bottle. It was crystal white with a pink cap. She eyed it suspiciously not really sure what it was meant for when a voice startled her causing her to almost drop it.

"Trying to break someone else's heart now?" James asked catching the bottle before it could actually fall from her hands. Ivy stare at him blankly not really registering what he's said because it was the first time he had spoken to her since the ball.

"I'm kidding..." He attempted a smile hoping it would lighten the mood a little. Ivy just stood there unable to form words.

"If your going to use it on my brother, don't bother."

"W-why would I use it on him?"

"That's why you broke up with me right? To get with him?" Ivy, feeling a lot more uncomfortable now, put the bottle back before walking away from the boy and looking at other things on the display. James, finding it amusing, followed anyway.

She found another jar of liquid similar to the first not entirely sure what it did either. The label on the front of the clear jar read Kissing Concoction; making Ivy frown a bit.

"You know changing the type of love potion won't make much difference." Ivy jumped again narrowing her eyes at the taller boy placing the jar back in the pile before moving on to the next.

So these were the love potions Lacey was so hung up on. She thought. She finally understood how easily Lacey would be able to get them back to school with her. The things could easily be mistaken for perfume.
