Chapter 14

~Chapter 14~

(Rose's POV)

"B-beware what professor?" I ask attempting to coax more out of Professor Trelawney. She's apparently having some type of vision or premonition. I remember my mum telling me about her from when she had her as a professor. She tends to get these premonitions at the most random times, but they are sometimes helpful.

"Beware the evil bred within the dark chambers of Hogwarts. Though the Dark Lord be gone his wrath lives on -GASP- The curse brings death upon all enemies of He Who Shall Not Be Named." I stand listening my eyes wide with both fear and shock. 

This can't be right. The Dark Lord was killed a long time ago. My uncle Harry made sure of it.

"Psst hey, make her let go." Scorpius whispers toward me as Trelawny continues to gasp for more air.

"Shut up will you, I'm trying to hear the warning."

"You know, you are really a-"

"Danger is a foot for all those that enter the gates of Hogwarts. Evil takes it's form and none shall escape once the transition is complete. Only united enemies can bring light to the darkness. But beware for no one is who they seem. Do not excuse the weak for they can become the most powerful; and restrain suspicion of the obvious for not everything is that easily done. There are many powerful souls at Hogwarts that the evil may use to his advantage. Only one is the soul he seeks. Finding common ground is key to door. Beware for if history repeats itself, all is doomed."

Professor Trelawney finally finishes her rant before cough excessively and blinking rapidly, her eyes behind her think glasses returning to normal. Once she's full aware of everything, her eyes flicker in between Malfoy and I widened in surprise.

"Oh, did the two of you need something dears?" her kind frail voice asked surprised. I stared at her confused. Did she not remember being Creepy McCreep just now? 

"Well if you could be as so kind to let me go, that'd be pretty cool." Scorpius says still being clung to by the professor. Professor Trelawney glances down in surprise as if she had just noticed she was clutching onto Malfoy for the first time. 

"Oh Merlin, now why on Earth were your clothes attached to my hand dear?" shes asks letting him go. He narrows his eyes at the woman.

"Why were your hands attached to my clothes?" he countered back narrowing his eyes further. I decided to step in before Scorpius gets in trouble for sassing a teacher.

"Sorry about that professor, just needed some fresh air; have a great night." I say in a hurry grabbing onto Malfoy's sleeve and dragging him away from the scene.

"Where are we going now?" 

"I'm not going anywhere with you, are you mad?" I scoff letting go of his arm once we're out of sight from Trelawney.

"I just wanted to get out of there before she realized it was after curfew." He nodded in agreement as we continued to walk aimlessly down the hall toward Raven Claw Tower. Once we reach the portrait I turn to him expectantly. 

I seriously hope he doesn't think I'm allowing him in here.

"So, this is it eh?" he asks throwing me a tiny grin. I narrow my eyes at him in annoyance. 

"Yes, now go on to your own room."

"Aww not even a kiss good night?" My eyes snapped to his instantly, my cheeks growing red within seconds.

"W-what....what are y-you..." he broke out into a fit of laughter causing me to go even more red before punching him on the arm.

"Ow! Hey that bloody hurt!"

"Serves you right, jerk." I growled before whispering the password and entering through the portrait to my common room.

"Night Ginger." Is the last thing I hear in that playful teasing tone before the portrait swung close and I curse quietly to myself. My am I blushing so hard at something so ignorant. I sigh and make my way up the stairs and into my room to ponder over the events of the night.

Sorry it's so short but don't worry I'm uploading again probably in a few hours or so. Just wanted to update a couple chappies to hold you kittens over ^_^
