~Chapter 10~
"Baby!" Nami squealed running into the arms of her blonde boyfriend as the rest of the group chuckle and shake their heads. Most of the six years in Gryffindor had finally finished their dreaded essay and found a little time to spend outside on the grounds. The sun was nearly setting and all the students were dreading the Monday morning that was soon to come but they decided to enjoy the rest of their day while it lasted.
Crode caught his love happily, he missed her just as much as she him, and swung her around causing Lacey to give a fake gag.
"They are so disgusting." she grinned to the others as they all start branching off in different directions. Lily, Lacey and August all took a seat in the grass, watching the sky change colors while Rebel and Hugo decided upon a lovely walk by the lake just the two of them.
"I think it's just the cutest thing ever; better than them bickering anyway."
"I dunno, I think them bickering is one of the fun parts of the relationship."
"Well not for them I'm sure; for us maybe."
"Well yeah I wasn't talking about their enjoyment." Lily laughs and smacks the other girl in the arm for her selfish thoughts all the while August lays there listening and thinking to himself.
"Hey Gus what's the deal with you? So do you like rose or?"
"Rose is attracted to someone else; as am I. We are merely going to the ball as friends." he stated calmly closing his eyes enjoying the nice breeze.
"Rose likes someone!?" Lacey shot up stunned. "Like actually fancies them?"
"I am not one to say."
"Oh come on August what kind of gossiper are you?" Lily pouted.
"Not a very good one obviously; you maybe looking for Phathon for that skill."
"Speaking of Phae where is he anyway? Haven't seen him since earlier." Lacey snorted lying back down and closing her own eyes. She could already feel the exhaustion of doing homework all day settling in her body.
Lucky for August she was fast asleep before he even had to answer her. Unfortunately that didn't stop Lily.
"You know, you two sure are dense when it comes to this sort of thing." she says quietly hoping not to wake her blonde friend. August lay silent for a while, more thinking, before answering.
"I am unsure of who you mean."
"You know who I mean. I won't speak of it out loud but I just think the two of you are making things so much more difficult."
"It isn't always that easy Lily." August have a crooked smile at the red haired younger. If he could count on anyone to see through absolutely anything he says or does it would always be Lily.
Or Rebel but because of different circumstances.
"No, it is that easy. I don't understand you old people; making everything harder for yourselves. My brothers, my cousins, Lacey; seriously? It's like you all seek complications as a hobby."
"It will make more sense when you are our age."
"Oh please, after seeing how you guys deal with it; I'm never getting a boyfriend. I'll marry my refrigerator and get a pet snake."
"Why a snake?"
"Snakes are cool."
"Says the Gryffindor." the darker boy laughs earning laughter from the younger girl as well.
