Everything will change
And show its true colors,
Like leaves in autumn
That were once green.
Everyone will change
And so does its favors,
Like dying blossoms
That were once pretty to be seen.
Everywhere will change
And so does its flavors,
Like rotting fruits
That were once fresh and tasty.
But one thing will never change
And so does its endeavors,
Like the trees' unseen roots
That are consistent even when times get weighty.

A/N: Uh, hello my lovely readers. So I loosely based this poem on a poem called "~ Women of Colour ~" from ~ Constellations Coming Together ~ by kishmish_. I don't know what to say about her poems, but I suggest you to look at some of her poems. If you like this poem, comment, vote, and share. Over and out.
