Red lights may stop our bodies,
But not our restless spirits
Like cars that must stay,
But their drivers want to go on.
Red lights may restrict movements,
But not our energetic souls
Like motorbikes that must stay sane
But their riders want to do stunts with them.
Red lights may suppress our freedom,
But not our passionate desires
Like gasoline in the gas tank
That burns in the fire.
Red lights may hold us from going on,
But our impetuous wills
Like the lampposts by the streets
That glow in the dark.

A/N: I had read the poem "Red" from Colors by redvelvet8975 for a few times. I was thinking of applying this color to 'traffic jams.' For those who want to read Colors, there are a few poems there, but I'm sure that they are all amazing. So if you like this poem, comment, vote, and share. Over and out.
