360°

Danced the night away

In the heart of France.

People are tired of the day,

So they look for the moon's glance.

-

The bar were filled with tempting cognac

And any other alcohol.

People everywhere were on crack

To the point their lives couldn't be controlled.

-

Shining spotlights were beaming on the liquid

As I drank from something premium.

Hours later, I became languid,

A body hurt from excessive delirium.

-

The next day, I woke up in my bed at home,

Realizing that my head is spinning round.

My recently conscious mind hums

The seconds before I fell to the ground.

-

My body was getting better,

But still hurt from the last night

Before I got a hangover

By the arrival of daylight.

A/N: Isn't this dark? I really twisted the topic of '360 degrees' in my own opinion. At first, I thought of travelling the whole world, and it was sure compatible, but I couldn't really think about the words to put in.

I just happened to read some of the poems from the poetry book called Phantasm by tsarahh, and coincidentally, it matched with this poem's theme. I based this poem on some of her poems, but with a twist of '360 degrees.' So if you think you like this poem, be sure to comment, vote, and share. Over and out.
