It is not long until my mind wanders
To winter's wonderful wonders.
It is not long until my heart eyes
On the beautiful blue skies.
It is not long until my hands feel
The sleek skin of the seals.
It is not long until my feet step
On the snowy and soily steppes.
It is not long until my ears hear
Noises of running reindeer.
It is not long until my nose gleam
On the eccentric scent of the eternal evergreens.
It is not long until I get lost,
Wanderlust in the winter wonderland.

A/N: I'd been thinking of the theme of 'temptations.' For a minute, I thought of a boy being weak after being wooed by the girl he had a crush on. However, I found out temptations can be everywhere, like in eating a specific food or cheating to get lots of money. So I'd been reading the poem "The Wanderess and the Flower" from Zephyr - The Winds of Time by SylvanaGMayar, and I'll loosely based this poem on the one I just read. If you like this poem, comment, vote, and share. Over and out.
