Best Gig - Bon Jovi at Murrayfield Stadium, Edinburgh
The widely anticipated Bon Jovi tour saw the sell out of the biggest stadium in Scotland, Murrayfield. Thousands adorned the arena, some waiting since the early hours of the morning. The kickass show had everyone moving with the fans in the golden circle trying desperately to touch their idols. The weather was great and Jon cheekily added that the weather was too hot for the women, and he could happily help them out with a bit of sun lotion which sent the women in the crowd into a frenzy. Richie Sambora had just rejoined the tour after a stint in rehab after fears that he wouldn’t make the only Scottish tour date. Another incident saw Jon strain the medial collateral ligament in his knee at a show in Helsinki and he had to wear a brace but that didn’t stop him thrashing out all the amazing rock anthems the band are famed for. The show ended on Blaze of Glory, and there is no doubt that the boys will be back.
