Charter Four - The Garden

Louis's P.O.V

I woke up that morning to see a smiling curly hair boy staring at me.

"Good morning" Harry said enthusiastically

"Hey, what time is it?" I said with a yawn

"Almost 12:00" he replied

"What!!!" I exclaimed "that means I am about to have surgery!"

"Calm down Lou, I was just teasing you. It is only 10:30" he commented with a chuckle

"Don't do that Haz, you know how much I hate surgeries!"

"Yeah, I know. I just wanted to scare you!"

"Well stop it, Haz! You really scared me!"

"Hahaha"he laughed

Harry and I talked for a while as the other boys were in and out of the room. Trying to eat but not eat in front of me, since I couldn't eat tell after the surgery. Next thing I knew a nurse came in to get me ready for the surgery. About ten minutes later they wheeled me off into surgery.

Harry's P.O.V

They had just wheeled Louis off and my stomach was growling. I headed down to the cafe for a sandwich and coffee.

When I got there all that I heard was "OMG IT IS HARRY STYLES!!!!" and then I was swarmed by girls. I took some photos and signed some stuff then excused myself and ran. I ran into the garden to hide. I found a huge space behind a bush, so I sat down and pulled me knees to my chest. I began to eat my sandwich and drink my coffee.

When I finished I looked at my watch. It was after 12:30, and I decided I needed to get back to the other lads. I started to stand when I saw a young girl walk out to the garden, I quickly recognized her. It was the same girl that we met yesterday in the elevator.

I heard her start to talk, so I sat down again and listened to her sweet voice.

"It looks like I am alone. Awesome, that means I can be completely myself and just let go of all my emotions. It also means I can pray and talk to myself out load" she said happily.

I stayed absolutely silent and listened to everything she had to say. I wanted to get to know the real her.

Kathryn's P.O.V

"It looks like I am alone. Awesome, that means I can be completely myself and just let go of all my emotions. It also means I can pray and talk to myself out load." I said

Then I heard something.

"Is someone there?" I looked around

I didn't see anyone, so I just started praying.

"Dear God, I need your help right now. You know the situation. My dad died and my mom is on life support. I am all on my own right now. My sister Emily is in college and I don't want her to give that up, because I am alone. She is in the middle of volleyball season and she is the main setter. Her team needs her and she loves the sport. I can't ask her to give that up for her to come stay with me just so I am not alone. That would be selfish"

I started to cry as I thought of what I would say next.

"And God, please don't let my mom go. I don't know what I would do without her. Not having her at the school, able to take care of all my needs when I needed them, would be so hard. I love her so much. She may be strict but I don't know what I would do without her. God say hi to my dad for me and tell him I love him and miss him. Please keep you hand over our family. In Jesus name amen."

I ended the pray and pulled out my IPod. I quickly got on my music, saying everything I do out load.

"Umm... a song. Lets see, what am I in the mood to sing."

I finally found a song, and started singing. The song was "If I Didn't Have You" by Thompson Square.

I sang word for word and note for note. I was pretty sure that I sounded terrible no matter how hard I tried. I decided to change the singer and so I started scrolling through my artist I had. I came a crossed One Direction and tapped on them. I suddenly realized that I had talked to Louis Tomlinson yesterday and was in an elevator with all of the boys. I even sat next to Harry Styles in the waiting area. I scrolled through their songs and found "Summer Love" so I tapped on that one and it started playing.

Once the song was over I listened to other songs by other artist. I sang almost all of the songs. I had fun just singing and being myself. Not worrying about anything. Then my phone rang it was my aunt and she said that I was to meet her in front and we would go shopping and get out of the hospital for a while. I turned the music off and left the garden.
