SHORT CHAPTER!!!!!!!! SORRY!!!!!!!!
Kathryn's P.O.V
It's been a week. One week since I became Kathryn Tomlinson. My family knows and are all okay with everything as long as I visit at least once a year. Of coarse I promised I would. I don't want to just stop being a part of this family, I have just gotten to close with the guys to let them go. The other part is that I have no family to stay with. My family doesn't either 1) have the money to adopt me, 2) have room to take me in or 3) are physically/mentally unable to take me.
Everything is packed up and we were getting ready to leave. I'll be staying at Louis and Harry's house for a while until Niall is old enough to adopt me. Of coarse that would be a few months. Niall's birthday is in September and it's still May. Well, actually today is the last day of May, but you get my point. I'm living with Louis and Harry tell sometime after Niall's birthday. I should be fully moved in with Niall by October. if only time would fly by faster.
"Kathryn." I heard someone call my name, Liam. I turned around to see Liam and Zayn carrying a big box.
"Can you get the door." Zayn asked.
I ran ahead and opened the door for them.
"Thank you." They said at the same time.
"Hey boys, I think I'm gonna go walk around a little." I told them.
"You okay?" Liam asked worriedly.
"Yeah, it's just... well, who knows when I'll be back. I want to look around a little... Just one last time before I leave for awhile." They both nodded and I walked away.
I started by walking around what I call "The Main Side of Town". See in our small town I split it into four parts. There's the outer part where all the farms are, the two hills where the people with a little more money and can pay for really nice houses live, down town where the little cafe, museum, church, winery, skate park, city hall and a few more things are. Lastly you have the main part. This is where the road you take to get to out little town, runs through. It has the school, football and softball fields. That's the side I live on. There are train tracks that run right through our little town, splitting the main side and down town.
I walked and walked until I found myself on the bridge down town. The same bridge Ty and I always walked to. I leaned against the rail and looked out at the river as far as I could see it until it turned to the right. I looked straight down and watched the water under my feet. I couldn't believe that this may be one of my last times ever seeing this river. One of the last times I may ever have to look out at the place where I grew up. Last times in the small town where I have spent the last fourteen years of my life. I have been walking around this town since before I could remamber. This is my home. It always has been and always will be. Even when living in London with Louis, then living with Niall, this will always be home. I'll never forget this place. Swimming in the river, riding bikes at the skate park and walking around town. Going to eat at the little cafe and looking through the museum a hundred times. There will never be a place as amazing and more meaningfull to me as this little town right here. I'll miss it dearly.
I stood on the bridge a little longer and then walked around town for a good four or five hours before I headed home. I just can't believe I am already leaving this small town. I didn't think I would be leaving for another four years. Until I was eighteen and graduated then went off to collage. It's like I'm leaving behind my old life to start a new one. I read somewhere one time that the end to one thing is always the begging of another. I guess that's what this is. It's the end of one chapter in my life, only to write the next. As much as I loved this chapter, it's over and time for the next. It's time to move on with my life and go. So I guess that's where I am now. I guess it's time to move on. I can't spend the rest of my life here. I can't live a life full of morning over the death of my family. I need to move on and I have the guys to help me. I'm ready, it's time.
By now I was at the tp of a hill and I could look out and see all of the small town. Every little piece of it. The sun was setting and it truely was a beautiful sight. I'm gonna miss it but I will always have the memories. So I guess it's time to say good bye. I guess it's time to completely let go and move on. If I don't now then I may never be able to, because what better way to say good bye then this exact moment. I looked out to the town and wiped away a small tear. It wasn't a tear of sadness but a tear of happiness because after this things will get better. Things will change and who knows what I will face, but I know I'm not alone and I know that after this I truely can face anything that comes my way.
I'm Kathryn Rose, and this is How Everything Changed.
"Good bye."

AUTHOR'S NOTE!!!!!!!!
Okay so I know I didn't tell you!!!!!!!!! Yes this is the end of the book. I am guessing none of you were expecting it but I decided a few days ago that I needed to end it soon and I actually had a few chapter ideas to get me to a certian event and then end it with Niall getting leagal rights as her guardian but I changed my mind as I was writing this. I guess I just thought, "You know? What better way to end it then this??" so that's what I did. Also I can save those ideas for other books....
I recomend that you keep this book though because I actually want to write a sequel and I will update when I write other books. I have about three different book ideas and I also have one other book I started writing but I placed on hold so I could finish this one. I ask that you all go check that one out. I can't wait to get writing each of these different ideas and I hope you truely enjoyed the book. Thank you to everyone who did read all of the book and go check out my profile for other books!!! (At the moment there is only one)
Another big thank you to every one of my readers!!!!!
