Kathryn's P.O.V

Today is the day of my dad and grandma's funeral. It has been three weeks since the dance. What is today's date, you may ask? November 15. I was heading to the funeral with Emily. We were both fully dressed in black. Tears filled both our eyes. We were silent the whole ride. Neither of us were in the mood to talk.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The whole funeral, we cried. Never letting go of the other, except for when we each placed a rose on each grave. I was silent the whole time. I didn't want to say a word to anyone. I saw all my family on my dad's side. They all gave me hugs and said things like ' It will get better' and 'I'm so sorry'. I didn't know how to reply. We were currently on our way home, or.... Well.... The hotel. Again the car ride was silent.
When we reached the hotel, I went straight to my room. I locked the door and played music. Everyone has there own way of getting through tough times. Me? Well, I listen to music and isolate myself from the world. Emily is the only one who knows my stages of grief. She is the only one who understands me completely. I don't know what I would do with out her. She wants me to sign the contract and go with the boys, but that means I wont get to see her, my other family, and my friends and for a while. I am also really scared to leave.
Emily's P.O.V
Kathryn has started her stages of grief. How do I know? Well, she has locked herself in her room and she isn't responding to anything we do. I can here Christian music play quietly in her room. The boys are getting worried about her. I keep reassuring them that she is fine, but they wont listen to me. Harry walked back into the room.
"She still wont open the door! It has been three hours since she locked herself in there." He was starting to freak out.
"Let me try!" Niall suggested getting up and heading into the hallway.
I heard him knock on her door. She didn't reply.
"Kathryn? Love? Please open he door?" No response.
"I have food!" He was trying to temped her. Classic Niall.
He walked back into the room.
"Well, food wont work" He sighed.
"She took like ten water bottles and
food in there with her. She has food, water, and access to a bathroom with out leaving her room. She isn't coming out unless she has to. She has prepared to isolate herself and do what she can to avoid human contact." I spoke.
"Isolate?" Niall was confused and I could see it in Harry's face that he was too.
"Go get everyone." I commanded.
"What for?" Harry asked.
"I think you all need to hear this." I stated.
"I will go get them." Niall stood up and walked out the door.
"Is it about Kat?" Harry questioned.
"Yeah" I looked down at my hands.
Everyone walked in and took a seat. I didn't look up. Everyone was silent, until Niall decided to ruin it.
"So why did you have me go get everyone?" He asked.
"Yeah, why are we here?" Louis asked.
"I have to leave again tomorrow morning. I have a volleyball tournament all weekend and then school that week." I replied.
"So what do we have to do with that?" Zayn questioned.
"Because, Kathryn is going through her grieving stages now and you need to know what is going to happen and what you should and shouldn't do." I looked back down. I never liked Kathryn's grieving process.
