Chapter 29

*Nicole POV*
I wake up the next morning and go downstairs. I get there and everyone is here but Brian and Luke. Nick is asleep on Spencer's shoulder. Jason and Owen are on Tyler's and Joey's lap. Jess is sleeping across Chad's and Caleb's lap. Casey is sleeping with her head on Liam's chest and Megan and snuggled into Dylan with her feet on jewels lap. Alan has Rowe on his lap. Presley is on Brycie's lap then AJ is in Fallon and Kelsey's. The only ones awake are Chad, Dylan, Joey, and Liam.
"What is everyone doing here" I ask
"We're going on a road trip" Chad says
"What time is it" I ask
"Um around 4:30" Joey says
"Why are you guys here so early" I ask
"Well we want to leave by 5. So Jewel and Kelsey already packed bags and stuff for you. We're taking two tour buses to fit all of us" Chad says
"Where are we going" I ask
"You'll find out soon enough" Liam says
They hand me a bull horn and they all pull one out also. We plug our ears and blow them. Shortly everyone is awake and sitting up.
"Nicole" Megan and Casey cheer
I go over to them and sit with them.
"What's going on guys" jewel asks
"Yeah really. You made me wake up at 2:30 this morning" Kelsey groans
"Caleb I said 3:30" Chad scolds
"Oops" Caleb says
"Caleb Andrew you are so dead" Kelsey says
"Ok ok calm down. We guys decided that everyone needs a break from all the drama and discussed about it. And we're going on a road trip" Spencer says
"We're taking two tour buses. Chad and I already have who's on what bus" Joey says
"Where are we going to" Presley yells
"Oh we're doing a road trip around Pennsylvania." Caleb says
"Now on bus one with me is: Dylan, Caleb, Kelsey, Nicole, Casey, Fallon, Nick, Owen, Megan, and Liam" Chad says
"On bus two is me, Brycie, AJ, Presley, Rowe, Spencer, Jess, Joey, Tyler, Jason, and Jewel" Alan says
"What cities or towns are we visiting" Casey asks
"Johnstown, Upper st. Clair, Philadelphia, Lancaster, Gettysburg, Jim Thorpe, and Quakertown" Chad says
"Wow a lot of big popular ones then the small town Quakertown." I say
"Hey we should go visit our great grandparents" Megan says
"Yeah we should" Casey agrees
"What" Joey asks
"Our great grandparents are in the same nursing home and they are like best friends. It's Casey's grandma. My grandma and grandpa. And Megan's grandpa" I say
"Oh cool where is it located" Fallon asks
"Upper st. Clair" Megan says
"Then definitely" Brycie says
"Guys we should probably head out" Dylan says
We all get up and go outside.
"The green bus is one the blue bus is two" Chad says
We get on our correct bus and it starts moving.
"When did you guys decide this" Megan asks
"Last night" Caleb says
"Oh ok. Now I'm in the mood for destroying Caleb" I say
"Oh you are so on" caleb says
We run to the back of the bus and start playing.
"Wait I want to play" Casey and Liam shout
"Ok" I say
"No shouting" Caleb scolds
"Shut up Grimmy" I say
"Nicole shut up is a bad bad word" Nick says
"Whatever" I say
"Megan Nicole said a bad word" Nick yells
Megan walks in holding Owen and picks Nick up.
"What did she say bubba" Megan asks
"Shut up" Nick says
"Nicole that is a bad word. We don't say that word around here" Megan scolds
"Yes mommy I'll behave" I say
"Haha you got in trouble" Caleb laughs
"Watch it Andrew I'll come after you next" Megan says
"Ooh" Casey and Liam say
"I'll go after you two as well" Megan says
"Baby come here"Dylan says
"You're being summoned" I say
She walks away with her two younger brothers to go see Dylan. Once she's out of sight I drop my controller and attack Caleb we start wrestling then Casey joins my side and Liam joins Caleb and we all start wrestling.
"There better be no wrestling on this bus while I'm driving" Chad yells
"Awe why not" I yell back
"Because I'm not there to join in" he yells back
"I'll drive" Liam says
"Do you have a bus license" Chad asks
"Yeah" Liam says
"Ok you can drive. It sucks for Alan because he's the only one over there with a bus license" Chad says
"No Joey has one" Caleb says
"He does" Chad asks
"Yeah. He just never told you guys because he didn't want to have to drive" Caleb says
"I'm texting Alan and letting him know" Chad says
"No because then Joey will yell at me and that would not be good because then I'll tell and then other stuff" Caleb says
"Oops to late" Casey says
"I hate you all" Caleb mumbles
"Hey I didn't do anything" Megan and Dylan yell
"Okay so I don't hate you two" Caleb says
"Where's Fallon and Kelsey" Casey asks
"They're talking" Chad says
I'm about to say something when my phone rings. I walk away and answer it.
N-hey Brian what's up
B-sis I've been getting threats
N-by who?
B-I don't know. I've been getting letters and also voicemails and messages on social media. I don't know what to do
N-I'm gonna put Chad on the phone
I pull the phone away from my ear.
"Chad" I yell
He comes in to where I'm at and sits next to me.
"Yes" he asks
"My brother called. I'm gonna put it on speaker. He needs help with something" I say
Chad nods an I put it on speaker.
N-you're on speaker Brian
C-what do you need help with Brian
B-I've been getting threats Chad and I don't know what to do
C-what are the threats about
B-they threaten to hurt me and then my family unless I give them what they want but I don't even know what they want. My family can't get hurt Chad
C-we will keep your siblings safe. You need to talk to the police about this. You need to show them the notes and the messages. If you want I can talk to the school about this and then you can come on the road trip with us
B-will you please? And thanks Chad
C-no problem. I'll call them once I hang up
N-bye bro I love you
B-love you too sis
I hang up and walk away so Chad can talk on the phone.
*Chad POV*
Nicole walks away and I call Ohio State.
A-hello this is Abigail from administration how may I help you
C-hello I'm wanting to talk to the headmaster about something
A-ok I'll go get him
After a few moments someone starts talking.
W-hello I'm William the headmaster who is this
C-my name is Chadwick and I wanted to talk to you about a problem with a few students.
W-ok which student
C-Brian Kane
W-are you the guardian
C-no but his guardian is not available at the moment. What is the name he has down as the emergency contact
W-uh lets see here... Chadwick M. Graham. It's that you
C-yes
W-ok then what is the problem
C-Brian has been getting threats. Both paper wise and social media. I was wondering if he could come and be with us for awhile until it all gets figured out
W-well we'd have to see evidence and he'd after to continue by doing it cyber.
C-ok. Thank you. Have him call me when he is free to come join us so I can pick him up
W-alright
C-have a good day sir
I hang up and go back to where everyone now is but Liam.
"Ok I just got off the phone with the headmaster and he agreed to Brian joining us" I say
"The anthem family all together" Casey says
Megan gets up from where she's sitting and runs to the back of the bus.
"Let's go talk to her Chad" Fallon says
Fallon grabs my hand as we go in the direction of Megan. We find her sitting on her bed so we sit on either side of her.
"Now what's the matter darling? Why are you here all alone" I ask
"I miss Luke. I for got all about him being here but then when Casey mentioned the anthem family being complete I remembered him." Megan says
"Meg you just have to remember to have fun and don't worry about it. You have us here and they will call when he wakes up. As soon as he wakes up you, Chad, Caleb, Nicole, Liam, and your younger brothers will go see him. So just worry about having fun." Fallon says
"Ok. What bus is Brian gonna be on" Megan asks
"The other bus. And then someone from that bus will join us over here" I say
"Who" Megan asks
"Whoever wants to" Fallon says
"Megan get out here Caleb is about to steal your food" Nicole yells
Megan gets up and runs out that way.
"You really care about her" Fallon says
"She deserves a good life. So do her brothers" I say
"Chad Caleb stole my graham cracker" Megan yells
I get up and go to where the others are.
"Megan you have a whole box" I say
"B-but he t-took some. Now I'm three short" she whines
"Caleb Andrew Grimm say sorry to Megan now and don't you dare use her first name" I scold
"Megan I am deeply sorry that I stole your graham crackers... and I didn't steal more" he says
"Oh Caleb you shouldn't have said that" Dylan says
Megan hands the box to Dylan and calmly walks over to Caleb then starts attacking him. I grab her and pick her up off of him.
"Ok ok no killing people today. He needs to live one year and a few months" I say
"Why" Megan asks
"So he can at least make it to his child's first birthday" I say
"Thanks for looking out for our baby" Kelsey says
"No problem" I say
All of a sudden Joey appears on the bus and he doesn't look happy.
"Caleb Andrew Grimm and Casey Teresa Stamper you two are in sooo much trouble" Joey yells
"Joseph no yelling" Kelsey scolds
"Sorry Kels now Caleb may o ask why you told them" Joey asks
"It just happened. We were talking and we brought up bus licenses" Caleb says
"Casey why did you text Alan telling him that" Joey asks
"It just happened. I had it types and before I could delete it my finger slipped and hit send" Casey says
"Now Joseph why are you on our bus" I ask
"Well we've been driving for about 5 hours so we stopped for bathroom breaks." Joey says
"We've already been driving for five hours" Nicole asks
"Yeah" Liam says
"Daddy. I have to go potty" Nick says
"Ok buddy" I say
I pick him up and walk off the bus.
*Casey POV*
"Oh yeah Brian is joining the trip" I say
"I know" Joey says
"He's..." megan starts
"Staying on our bus and then someone else will stay on your bus" Joey finishes
"How" Nicole asks
Joey pulls out the phone to show the group text between him and the guys and the wives and Jewel.
"You really need to propose to jewel" I say
"Whatever" he says
A second later jewel comes on this bus with Jason and hands him to Joey.
"Daddy" Jason cheers
"Hey buddy" Joey says
"Hi dada" Jason says
"Jewel you alright there" Nicole asks
"Joseph I think I'm spending to much time with you guys" Jewel says
"Why do you say that" Joey asks
"Who am I Jason" jewel asks
"Mommy" Jason yawns
"Awe baby he thinks you're his mom." Joey says
"See Joe this is why you need to propose to her" Megan says
"Thank you love experts" Joey says
"Well we do have boyfriends" Nicole says
"They do have a point Joe" Kelsey says
"Yeah" Fallon agrees
"What are you all arguing about" Spencer asks
We turn around and see Alan, Chad, and Spencer standing there.
"About Joey and jewel" I say
"What about my little buddy" Chad asks putting Joey in a headlock
"Chadwick let go of me" Joey yells
"No not until we find out what about my little buddy and and mini buddy" Chad says putting Jewel in a headlock as well
"We were just telling him that he should propose to Jewel and he was denying it. Then Jewel ran in saying that Jason called her mommy then we told Joey that he should propose then you guys came in" Megan says
"Oh ok. Well Joey I think you should propose" Spencer says
"Me too" we hear Caleb say
All of us girls and turn around seeming Caleb there.
"How long have you been sitting there" Nicole asks
"The whole time" Caleb says
"Ugh dang it." Joey exclaims
He pulls out $10 and hands it to Alan. So does Chad and Spencer.
"We hate you so much right now Caleb" Chad grumbles
"What just happened" Kelsey asks
"Well we've been getting annoyed with Caleb at the studio because he wouldn't stop talking so we called Alan and complained." Joey says
"I then told them that on the trip when we're all together Caleb could go a whole half hour without talking. Then didn't believe me so we made a bet out of it and put ten dollars each in it. I won" Alan says
"Wow so I'm only worth 40$" Caleb asks
"That's ok I'm only worth 5$" Megan says
"Ooh who was the bet between" Caleb asks
"Me and Nicole. And don't you dare correct my grammar Andew" I say
"What was the bet" Spencer asks
"That she didn't have a secret brother" Nicole says
"Who said I did" Megan asks
"Me" I say
"Oh that makes sense. You knew me longer" Megan says
"Hey  Chadwick let go of us" Joey and Jewel say
"Um no" Chad says
"Chadwick Matthew Graham" we all yell
"Ok" Chad says
Chad let's go of them but then puts all three of us girls in one.
"Chad" Megan whines
"Dada let go of my sissy" Nick says
"Uncle Chad let go of my sissy" Jason says
"Come on Chad let go of the girls" Fallon says
"Awe baby do I have to" Chad whines
"Yes. Now let go and everyone get to the proper bus so we can get back on the road" Fallon says
"Daddy can I go with Uncle Spencer" Nick asks
"Spence you okay with it" Chad asks
"Of course." Spencer says
"Joey you are not staying on this bus" Alan says
"No. Me, Liam and Dylan are swapping" Joey says
"I'm staying on this bus too" Jewel says
"Jason who do you want to go with" Joey asks
"Uncle Alan" Jason says
Everyone goes to their bus or stays on this one. Chad goes up to the front and starts the bus.
"How much longer till we get to Ohio" Nicole asks
"About 5 hours" Chad says
Caleb grabs monopoly and we all start playing.
"No Joey how dare you" Megan yells
"Oh boo hoo you have like 12 properties. All I did was but Boardwalk and park place" Joey says
"Joe she always gets those" I say
"No Joe always gets them" Fallon says
"He yells at us if we try to buy them" Kelsey says
"Don't worry Nicole and I both tried buying them and she bit us" I say
"Um guys they're wrestling" Jewel says
"There better be no fighting on my bus" Chad yells
Megan quickly slaps Joey and then goes up to the front.
"Dang she's strong" Joey laughs
"Joe you already have a black eye" Jewel says
"Megan" Joey yells
"Joe she's asleep be quiet" Chad scolds
We continue playing the game and by the time we get to Ohio the game ends.
"How did this happen" Joey asks
"Don't ask me" I say
Chad comes to the back carrying a sleeping Owen and Megan.
"What happened" Chad asks
"Megan won" Fallon says taking Owen
"Oh wow well Brian is gonna come on to this bus. We're gonna get to Pennsylvania in 5 hours then sleep for the night" Chad says
"Ok" Nicole says
Brian appears and everyone hugs him then Chad returns to the front to drive.
"How is Luke progressing" Brian asks
"He's still in a coma and is slowly progressing but getting better" Kelsey says
"Is your house quiet" I ask Caleb
"Very. And I don't have anyone to compete against in Mario Kart" Caleb says
"Oh you poor baby" Kelsey says
"Ugh I hate you all" Caleb says
"Let's watch high school musical" I shout
"Yes!" Nicole shouts
"Guys quiet Megan is sleeping" Joey says
Caleb puts in high school musical and we all find somewhere to sit. By the time we're done the 3rd one we're in PA.
"Ok we're sleeping on the bus. Either a bunk or a couch. Goodnight" Chad says we all make our ways to somewhere to sleep. I go to the back of the bus and lay down on the couch. Shortly I drift off to sleep.
