Chapter 40

*Megan POV*
I wake up the next day and realize I'm still at Liam's. I go downstairs and everyone is already awake except Jewel and Joey. Caleb, Kelsey, and Emmett are there.
"Where's Joey and Jewel" I ask
"They sleeping outside" Jason says
"What he said" Tyler says
At that moment Joey and Jewel walk in. Jewel is wide awake but Joey is half asleep. Nicole and I go over to Joey and tackle him to the ground.
"Really" Joey whines
"Yes. Now wake up" Nicole says
"I don't wanna" Joey says
"Daddy wake up" Jason yells
"Why" Joey asks
"Because I want to go to park and mommy said I can't go until you wake up" Jason says
"Fine I'll get up" Joey says
We get up off of him then he stands up.
"Dylan when do we have to pick your siblings up" I ask
"I think my uncle said they were getting at the airport at noon" Dylan says
"We should probably leave now to get them" Liam says
"Ok who's all going with us" Dylan asks
"I think it's you, Megan, and Liam" Chad says
"Chad go with them so there's an adult there" Fallon says
"Yes ma'am" Chad says
"Joey when does Casey get to come home" I ask
"She'll be here when you guys get home" he says
"Yeah" I cheer
We go out to Chad's van and get in. Chad starts the van and heads to the airport. After an hour we arrive. We go in and wait. A little while later and they're still not here.
"Wait Dylan if the twins are two months old and you were here for a year how did you know about them" I ask
"Uncle Alan found out then told me" he says
"Ok" I say
"Dylan" we hear
We turn around and see two girls running to us. Dylan crouches down a bit and hugs them.
"We missed you" the older one says
"I miss you to. Where are the twins" he asks
"Miss Debbie has them" the youngest says
"Oh girls this is Megan my girlfriend. Megan this is Antonia and Ali" I say
"Hi" they say
"Hi" I say
We stand up and see a lady with two carriers. Liam and Chad go over and take them from her.
"Hi miss Debbie" Dylan says
"Antonio" she says
"You're still mad at me" he asks
"Yes" she says
"Well then" he says
I smack his head and he goes over to his siblings.
"Hi I'm Megan Antonio's girlfriend." I say
"I'm Debbie the kids social worker. All their bags are in an office. Go to baggage claim tell then bags for Powell kids and then they'll show you where they are" she says
"Thank you" I say
I shake her hand then she walks away. I go over to the others and smack Dylan's head again.
"What was that for" he exclaims
"We're having a talk about this later" I say
"Yes ma'am" he says
We start walking to baggage claim when the twins start crying. Dylan and I take them out and keep walking. As we're walking we hear Chad and Liam whispering.
"You better. It be talking behind our backs" I say
"Ok" Liam says
Ali and Antonia come up to us and walk with us. We get to baggage claim and they show us to the office.
"Here Dylan I'll take Drew as well" I say
Dylan hands Drew over to me and him the two guys and the two girls grab bags and we then walk out to the van. We get the bags in the van then put the twins in the car. Then we all get in. Of course as soon as the twins are settled in they start crying. I grab their pacifiers and put them in their mouths. After a few minutes of Chad driving they fall asleep.
"Ali and Antonia you remember Jessica right" Dylan asks
"No. Mom and dad wouldn't let us do anything" Antonia whispers
I look back at Dylan and he just looks at me with a 'we'll talk later' look. I nod and turn back around. We get to Liam's and see no cars in the driveway other than Liam's and Dylan's. I look at my phone and see a text from Luke saying they all went to Joey's. We get all the stuff out and take it in then Dylan and I go back out and grab the twins and take them in.
"Do you girls want to see your room" I ask
"Yes please" they say
"Liam do you want to show them their room" I ask
He nods and they follow him upstairs. Liam and I take the twins out of their seats then up to the nursery. We change them then put them in the cribs.
"Hey Dylan I think we need to talk about earlier" I say
"Ok" he sighs
We go to the girls room and see them both asleep. We go to Dylan's room and sit on his bed.
"What was Miss Debbie talking about" I ask
"I'll start at the beginning" he says
"When I was six my mom and dad would argue and get drunk and threaten each other. My mom would want to leave and then my dad would want to leave and they would argue about who I would go with. I always thought it was my fault so I would run away. A cop would find me then take me home. They would tell my parents and for a few months we would be a happy family then they would go back to arguing. When I turned 9 Antonia was born and it was ok. Then a year later Ali was born and it was still ok. When they got to be in kindergarten my parents started getting drunk again. And anytime I wasn't with you guys I was either at home with my siblings or out with a gang. Then you guys left and I felt like I had no one so it got worst and I started doing worst stuff. The gang got me to spray paint stuff, rob, and other stuff. My parents found out and they weren't to thrilled so they sent me to live with my uncle. I didn't like that so I slashed Miss Debbie's tires. But what do you know she had another car and I couldn't slash those tires. And when I got grounded by my uncle he found out about this gang and that I was still apart of one or two of them. But I'm done with that stuff." He says
"Ok" I say
"Hey baby girl look at me." He says
I look up at him and he kisses my forehead.
"I love you the past is behind me. Ever since me and you started dating I haven't ever done that stuff." He says
"I love you too" I say
"Megan we're going to Joey's do you want to come with" Liam asks
"No. I'll stay here with Dylan and his siblings" I say
"Ok" Liam says
*Casey POV*
Around 2pm Chad and Liam show up and we're all watching Mulan.
"Hey case" Liam says
"Hi LiLi" I say
"Aww how cute" Jewel squeals
"Really Jewel" I ask
"Sorry I'm getting tired of Megan and Dylan's cuteness" she says
"Where are Megan and Dylan" I ask
"Dylan's siblings fell asleep and Dylan doesn't exactly know how to take care of babies so she stayed with him" Chad says
"I want to go see Megan." I whine
"Ask Joey" Chad says
"Can I Joey please" I beg
"I don't know. The doctor said you had to rest and take it easy" he says
"Jewel" I ask
"Yes go ahead" she says
"Hey when did you become in charge of her" Joey asks
"When we got married" she says
"I'm coming with" Nicole says
"I'm gonna stay here" Chad says
"I'll go with" Luke says
Us four teens go to Liam's vehicle and get in. He drives us back to his house and we go in. We get in there and see Megan and Dylan sitting on the couch watching tv. I run over to them and jump on them.
"Snuggles" Megan exclaims
"Fruitcake" I say
"Peaches" Nicole says
"Hey where's john and Kyle at" Megan asks
"What do you mean" I ask
"They're downstairs" Liam says
"Kyle and John never died. They just got hurt badly. They now live here downstairs" Nicole says
"Yeah" I say
"Hey Casey" Dylan says
"Hey Dyl" I say
"Can you get off of us" Megan asks
"No" I say
All of a sudden Liam comes over and grabs me off of them. He sits down and sets me in his lap.
"I missed you" he says
"I missed you too" I say
He kisses my forehead and I rest my head against his chest.
"Yo no PDA" Megan shouts
"You sound like Chad" I complain
"You do PDA" Nicole says
"It's different when I do it" she says
"What the difference" Luke asks
"We don't have to suffer" Dylan says
"Oh boo hoo they didn't really get to see each other for four months" Luke says
"We should go on a quintuple date" Nicole says
"Why? What if I don't want to go with my brother" I say
"Megan always has to go with two of her brothers" Nicole says
"So that's not my fault" I say
"It sort of is. You are dating her brother" Dylan says
"Not helping Dyl" Casey says
"Too bad" Dylan says
"We have to wait for Dylan's siblings to wake up anyways and someone would have to watch them." Megan says
"And I don't want to leave them here with Kyle and John because I don't know how they'll do with them" Dylan says
"Have your uncle watch them" Luke says
"Ugh fine let me text him and ask" Dylan says
"What do you not want to go on a quintuple date" Liam asks
"Megan and I were just planning on hanging here tonight and watching movies" Dylan says
"What were you going to do when I got home" Liam asks
"Lock you out" Megan mumbles
"Wow love you too sis" Liam says
"Don't worry I love you" I say
"I know. I love you too" he says
"Why aren't we ever cute like those four" Nicole asks
"Do you really want to act like that" Luke asks
"No" Nicole says
"Exactly. We're cute in our own special way" Luke says
He kisses her nose and she giggles.
"Woah Casey did you hear that" Megan asks
"Yeah I did" I say
"What" Nicole asks
"You just giggled" I say
"Well I guess when someone as handsome as him is sweet to me it happens" Nicole says
"My uncle said he couldn't watch them but he talked to a friend of his and said he'd come to watch them" Dylan says
"Ok" Liam says
"I texted Tyler and Brian and they said ok. We'll go see moana then get dinner" Luke says
"Then can we go to chick fil a and eat in the park" Megan asks
"But it's cold out." I whine
"Yeah it's almost Christmas. A week till Christmas" Nicole says
"But I want to eat outside at the park" Megan whine
"We'll eat outside baby girl. The others can join if they want" Dylan says
"Aww you guys are so adorable and makes me want to puke" Luke says
"Shut up Luke" Megan says
"Leave your sister alone" Nicole says
We talk for a little bit more then there's a knock on the door. I go over and answer it.
"Hi is this where Liam Grimm and Dylan Powell live" the guy asks
"Yes" I say
"Hi I'm Joel Smallbone." Joel says
"I know. I love listening to you and your brother's songs" I say
"Who's at the door" I hear Liam yell
"Someone. Come here Megan and Nicole" I yell
Megan and Nicole come into view and they both smile.
"I'm guessing they're fans as well" Joel whispers
"Yes" I say
"Hello" Megan says
"Hey" Nicole says
"Why hello ladies. Now you three don't have mischief of a southern accent where are you three from" he asks
"Pennsylvania" we say
"Ah I see. Have you ever been to our concerts" he asks
"No. We've never been to any concert" I say
"Well that will definitely have to be changed" he says
"Thanks" Megan says
"You know what how about we exchange numbers and we can stay in touch and I'll give you Luke's as well. But you have to promise me that all three of you create a group chat and include me and Luke and we prank Luke in it" Joel says
"Of course" Nicole says
We lead him to the living room and introduce him to everyone. After he meets everyone we hear footsteps and Ali and Antonia appear.
"Joel this is Antonia who is 10 and Ali who is 9" Dylan says
"Bubby Andrew and Dawatha are crying" Ali says
"Ok" Dylan says
Megan and Dylan go upstairs then return shortly with two babies.
"Awe they're so cute. How old are they" I ask
"2 months" Dylan says
"Do you think you can handle all four of these kids" Megan ask
"Of course. I'm sure Ali and Antonia will want to help" Joel says
"Yeah Fruit cake he's got it. No getting out of it" I say
"Fine" Megan groans
"Come on guys we should probably leave so we can get to the movie on time and meet up with the other four" Liam says
"Can't we ditch them" Nicole asks
"I already asked that question but because Megan is stuck with her brothers we have to be stuck with ours" I say
"What" Joel asks
"Liam and Luke are my brothers and they are dating Casey and Nicole. I'm dating Dylan. Then Casey's brother Tyler is dating Nicole's cousin Hope. Nicole's brother Brian is dating my second cousin Faith" Megan says
"Wow" Joel says
"Yep" I say
"Well you all have fun and I'll see who ever tonight" he says
We say bye then leave. We get in Liam's van then head to the movies. We get there and get tickets. We go inside and find the other four waiting.
"Hello brother" Nicole says
"Hello sister. Luke I hope you are treating my sister well today" Brian says
"Of course always" Luke says
"Bub" I say
"Case. Liam you treating my sister nice" Tyler says
"Of course" Liam says
"Bubbys" I say
"Meggy. Dylan no PDA during the movie" Luke says
"Megs. Dylan you better sleep with one eye open" Liam says
"Liam stop that's creepy" Megan whines
"It really is babe" I say
"Shut up" Liam whines
"Guys we should probably head to theatre" Brian says
"Wow cous when did you become in charge" hope asks
"Yeah Brian I'm pretty sure I'm in charge" Nicole says
"No way. If you're in charge we're all going to die" Faith says
"Faith be kind. She might become your sister in law one day" Tyler says
"Guys we're all family already anyways. Besides Dylan but that's okay." Luke says
"Woah Megan if you and Dylan got married Alan would sort of be like your uncle" I say
"He would" Megan says
"Can we just go watch the movie" Liam whines
We agree and go in to the correct theatre. Once the movie ends we go outside and to the vehicles. We get to chick fil a and order.
"Ok who's coming outside with us" Megan asks
"You guys are stupid going outside in the cold to eat" hope says
"We'll come" Faith says
"Anyone else" Dylan asks
"No" Nicole and I say
Those four leave and go outside. We finish eating and decide to go see if they're done. We go out there and see faith is wearing Brian's coat and Megan and Dylan are cuddling while eating.
"Awe how cute" I say
"That's adorable" Nicole says
"Who? Dyl and Meg or Brian and Faith" Hope asks
"Both" Nicole and I say
"Leave us alone" Megan whines
"Come on we should leave before my brother gets pneumonia" Nicole says
"Oh boo hoo" Megan says
"Come on baby girl. We'll come back out a different day. Maybe one of our own dates" Dylan says
"Fine" Megan says
We go to the vehicles and get in.
"Do you want me to text Tyler and let him know to meet us at Liam's or where are we meeting at" I ask
"I told Brian that we're just dropping everyone off at their own home." Liam says
"Ok" I say
"But I don't want to go home. Jessica is in the phase where what ever she says is right and Spencer is literally about to blow his top with her. Yesterday he went on a two mile jog to calm down" Nicole says
"You can sleep over. I'm sure Joey won't mind" I say
"Yeah" Nicole says
"You can too Megan if you want" I say
"I would love to but I feel like I should stay near Dylan tonight so I can help if needed since it's his first night taking care of his siblings" Megan says
"Alright" I say
We get to Joey's and Nicole and I say goodnight to our boyfriends then go to the front door. I pull my key out and unlock the door. We go in to see Jason asleep cuddled up to Joey and Joey and Jewel watching The Little Mermaid cuddled together. Nicole and I take a few pictures then crash the party.
"Ugh you're back already" Joey whines
"Love you too cous" I say
"Wait Nicole why are you here" Joey asks
"I'm tired of hearing Spencer and Jessica arguing" she says
"Yeah sleepover" Jewel says
"Baby" Joey whines
"Oh you'll get over it" Jewel says
Jewel grabs our arms and takes us downstairs. We turn on the tv and watch Disney movies till we fall asleep.
