Chapter 46

(Friday)
*Tyler POV*
So Susie's family will get Suzy to the church but we're in charge of getting everyone else and Spencer there.
"Come on Joey and Jewel. Why not" Casey asks
"Because. I'm exhausted and so is your cousin" Jewel snaps
"Fine" Casey says
She walks off and goes upstairs. And I hear her door slam. I walk outside and call Liam.
L-hey Tyler what's up
T-we can't get Joey or Jewel to come. They're both exhausted. and Jewel is getting moody
L-ok. Just try again. We have everyone else agreed in coming
I hang up and go back inside.
"Joey and Jewel can we please go? This is something that we've been looking forward to for a while and want to do as a family" I say
"Ok fine" Joey mumbles
He gets up and then Jewel gets up and they go upstairs to change. I change then go to Casey's room. I knock on the door.
"Go away" she yells
"Nope. No can do sis" I say
Joey comes out of his room dressed and over to me.
"What's wrong" he asks
"She won't come out. When she was asking you guys Jewel snapped at her and Casey ran to her room" I say
"Casey. Can you please open the door? I want to talk with you" Joey says
The door opens and Casey is standing there.
"Tyler can you go check on Jason and help him if he needs help" Joey asks
"Yeah" I say
I walk away and go to Jason's room. I knock on the door then walk in. I get in there and Jason is sitting on his bed frowning.
"What's wrong little bro" I ask
"Rowe likes me but I like Ali but Ali likes Nick but Nick likes Presley and Presley likes Taylor but Taylor likes Rowe but then again all of us guys like the girls but we don't know if the girls like us." He says
"Well how about at some point all six of you get together and talk it out. Anyways aren't you all to young to be worrying about dating" I ask
"Ali and Presley are 9" he says
"Yes. And you and Nick are 6&7 and Taylor is 8" I say
"We're big kids" he says
"Ok well can you at least get dressed." I ask
"Can you help me" he asked
"I thought you were a big boy" I ask
"Tyty please help me." He begs
I sigh but help him.
"Thank you" he says
"Your welcome" I say
I finish helping him and we go downstairs. We get down there and Jewel is sitting on the couch watching Tangled. Jason runs over and sits with her.
"Where's Joey and Casey" Jewel asks
"Upstairs. Joey's trying to calm Casey down" I say
"Why" she asks
"Casey got upset when you snapped at her. But don't worry it's not your fault" I say
"No it is. I didn't mean to. I just haven't gotten a lot of sleep from morning sickness and Jason always wanting to play or what not. I also have been home schooling him. I've been doing it with Brycie and Fallon" Jewel says
"Mommy I'm hungry" Jason says
"Bud we just ate breakfast. Later you can eat" I say
"Ok" Jason says
A few minutes later Joey and Casey come downstairs.
"Everyone ready" Joey asks
"Yep" I say
We go out to the car and get in. Joey starts it and heads to the church. We get there and us three kids race inside. We go to the sanctuary and the other kids and Kyle and John are there. Along with Susie's family.
"Where are all the adults" I ask
"I think outside" Dylan says
"Hope and Tyler go outside and let everyone in but Suzy. Suzy's dad go with them." Casey says
Hope grabs a hold of my hand and we go outside. As soon as we get out there we are bombarded with questions.
"Everyone but Suzy just go inside and to the sanctuary then sit down." I say
They go inside but Spencer is still out here.
"Spencer go inside" I say
"Why" he asks
"Because we said so" Hope says
"Fine" Spencer grumbles
He goes inside and Brian comes out.
"I just got a text from them. They're at the airport and they'll be here in a half hour" Brian says
"We need to stall then" I whisper
"Um have Suzy and her dad come in and us kids will do our performance" Hope whispers
"Ok" I say
"Wait I just got another one. They got out of the airport quickly and there's no traffic. They'll arrive in 15 minutes." Brian says
"Ok. Go and perform with Megan. I'm sure you guys could do something. Have Luke play piano if you need" I say
He nods and runs in.
"What's going on? Why am I still out here" Suzy asks
"You'll see. You love Spencer right?" I ask
"Of course I do. He's sweet, kind, caring, handsome, really nice, makes me laugh..." she says 
"Awe" hope gushes
"Oh girls" I sigh
"Tyler" I hear
I go inside and see Joey in the doorway of the sanctuary.
"What" I ask
"Jason is throwing up and he wants no one but you. I tried picking him up but he started yelling and crying" Joey says
"Ok" I say
We go inside the sanctuary and Jason is sitting on the ground near where he emptied his stomach. I go over to him and kneel next to him.
"Hey buddy. Are you feeling okay" I ask
"My stomach hurts" he says
"I know. How about we go clean you up and then I'll come back in here and clean the floor up" I say
"I'm sorry for making a mess" he cries
"Oh bud it's okay. I know you didn't mean to" I say
I pick him up and carry him to the bathroom. I sit him on the counter and starts washing his face and hands. I feel his forehead and it's burning up. I grab a wet paper towel and put it on his forehead.
"Ok bud keep that paper towel on your forehead and let's go back to the sanctuary" I say
He nods and I pick him up. I go back to the sanctuary and pass Jason off to Joey. I then go grab many paper towels and my water bottle and start cleaning it up. Pastor john comes over.
"Tyler you don't have to clean that up. They can clean it up tomorrow" he says
"No. I should. It's my responsibility" I say
"Tyler" he says
I ignore him and continue. I finish and throw out the paper towels then go outside. I get out there and Spencer's parents are just waking up.
"Hey guys" I say
"Hello Tyler" Mama Kane says
"Go ahead inside" I say
*Spencer POV*
We're all in the sanctuary. We'll all except Suzy and her dad. Right now I'm talking with Suzy's little brother who is 16. Then her other two youngest siblings who are 4 and 5 are climbing all over me. After about 20 minutes the door opens and my parents walk in. I walk over to them and hug them.
"How come I didn't know about you guys coming" I ask
"Brian invited us" my dad says
"Brian how did you get their numbers" I ask
"From Nicole" Brian says
"Nicole" I ask
"Spencer can I see your phone" Nicole asks
"Sure" I say
I give it to her and she gets Siri up.
"Mama" she says
And my moms information shows up.
"Stalker" I say
"Spencer be kind to your cousin" my dad says
"Yes sir" I say
"Get ready" Luke says
Everyone sits down and I go to sit down but Brian makes me stand. The doors open and Suzy comes through with her father. Tyler is in front of them dressed like a security guard. When he gets to the front he stands off to the side. When Suzy and her dad get to the front he shakes my hand then sits down. I take Suzy's hand and look in her eyes.
"Dearly beloved we are gathered here this afternoon to join together Suzy Mariana Martinez Lopez and Spencer Hess Kane. Do you Suzy take Spencer to have and to hold..." pastor john says
"I do" she says
"And do oh Spencer..." he says
"I do" I answer
He goes on and on and eventually he says, "I know pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss the bride" he says
I lean in and kiss Suzy. Everyone claps and we pull apart. We smile at each other and I kiss her cheek.
"Ok. Who's idea was this" I ask
No one raises their hand but all the girls point at megan and Dylan. I go over to them and stare at them.
"Why is it always you two" I ask
"It wasn't us" Dylan says
"Yeah. It was Hope and Faith" Megan says
"No it was Brian" faith says
"Thanks love for throwing me under the bus" Brian says
"You sure she wasn't just driving over top of you" Nicole asks
"Oh zip it" Brian says
"Ok really who's idea was it" Suzy asks
"Mine, Megan's, and Dylan's" Brian says
"The only thing Brian did was get your parent here" Jess says
"Well thank you all of you" I say
"No problem" Casey says
"Well we better head to the reception" pappy says (Suzy's grandpa)
"Yes we shall" Kyle says
Everyone goes to the vehicles and we follow Suzy's family. We get to the building and we go inside. Suzy comes over to me and I lock hand with her.
"I love you" I whisper
"I love you too" she says
"I'll be back. I have to go talk to Tyler and Casey. Something seems wrong. They've been really quiet" I say
"Ok. I'm going to talk with my family" she says
She goes one way and I go over to Casey and tyler who are just sitting at a table. I sit down in a chair and look at them.
"What's wrong" I ask
"Nothing" Casey says
"Then say it while looking in my eyes" I say
She looks in my eyes then turns her head away.
"What happened this morning" I ask
"Jewel snapped at me and it was just sudden so I don't know" Casey says
"Jewels having a struggle with this pregnancy even if it is only May and she's three months pregnant." I say
"I know. I can tell by how little sleep they get." She says
"Tyler now what about you" I ask
"I don't know. Once Jewel was pregnant Joey has spending less time with us meaning someone still had to watch Jason so I started doing it and then when he threw up and Joey called for me. I just got annoyed. Normally Jason would ask for Joey and now that Joey never spends time with him all Jason wants is me" tyler says
"Well why don't you guys sit down and talk with Joey and Jewel" I suggest
"No. That would just cause them more stress and everything" Casey says
"Ok" I say
I get up and go find Joey. I find him talking with Chad.
"Hey Chad can I borrow Joey from you for a quick minute" I ask
"Go ahead but I'll be counting" Chad says
Chad walks off and goes to Fallon.
"What's up Spencer. How does it feel to be married" Joey asks
"Good but I need to talk to you about something" I say
"Ok" he says
"Casey, Tyler, and Jason are feeling abandoned" I say
"What do you mean? Jewel and I are there for them" he says
"I know but tyler has been having to care for Jason a lot apparently and you haven't done anything with them just to spend time with them for a while. And Jewel snapped at Casey which really hurt her. I know Jewel is stressed and everything and you're sleep deprived but can you please try and be there for them" I ask
"Ok" he says
I walk back over to Suzy and kiss her cheek.
"Alright. Attention. Us kids/teens/young adults have a gift for Spencer and Suzy" Megan says
She plays the slide show and we all watch it. By the end Suzy is close to tears and I smile. Suzy drops my hand and goes over to megan. However, before Suzy can hug her megan ducks and runs away.
"How is she running in heels" my mom asks
"She's wearing sneakers. Which I'm okay with. I mean we actually got her to wear a dress. She hates dresses" I say
"What is she going to do when she gets married" my dad asks
"She isn't. She isn't getting married I'm not letting her." Chad says
"Chadwick she's already dating" I say
"So. I can prevent her from getting married." He says
"Dad" megan yells
"What" Chad yells back
"Dylan proposed" she says
"No no no. Antonio Dylan Powell get over here right now" Chad says
Chad runs off and tackles Dylan. Megan walks over and starts laughing.
"So when is it" I ask
"When is what" she asks
"The wedding" I ask
"Once ho proposes." She says
"That's what I figured" I say
"What do you mean" she asks
"I knew he didn't really propose" I say
"Ok. Well I'll go deal with my dad and my boyfriend" she says
"Joseph stamper please report to the front stage. Joseph stamper to the front stage" Kelsey says into the mic
I turn to the stage and Jewel and Kelsey are standing there.
"Where is Joseph at" Jewel asks
"Right behind you baby" Joey says
Jewel turns around and punches Joey in the shoulder.
"Ow" Joey says
"You deserved that" Alan says
"Wow thanks for the support big Al" Joey says
"No problem J-weezy" Alan says
"Ok well to interrupt their bickering it is time for the maid of honor and best man speeches. Who'd like to go first" Kelsey asks
"I will" Jewel says
"Of course you'd want to go first" Joey says
Jewel turns around and punches him in the shoulder again. She turns back around and takes the mic.
"Let's see here. I met Spencer as soon as he met the band and was getting to know the guys and about to join the band. Joey came home from work one day and asked me to come over. I went over and he seemed all upset. I asked what was wrong and he said Alan was leaving but after that he said and a really cool guy is replacing him. He's cooler than me. Now Suzy we first met her because we'd go to her family restaurant all the time and eat lunch. Her parents and grandfather never let us pay. Eventually I saw that Spencer was falling for her so I invited her to hang with us and we've become best friends" Jewel says
She passes the mic to Joe and he kisses her cheek.
"Well to start off what Jewel said about me is correct. I thought Spencer was cooler than me. Now I know that I was wrong. No one could be as cool as me" he starts
"Or more humble" I add in
"Ssh. As I was saying Spencer was cooler than Caleb at some points though so I then replaced Caleb with Spencer and we'd hang out all the time and get yelled at by Chad or Caleb for not doing work. But when Spencer and Suzy were dating they liked to go to the park so some of us or all of us would go to the park and we'd around with them and they'd end up in a pond or something. They'd get mad or at least Spencer would but once one of the little kids started laughing Spencer would too." Joey says
They walk off of the stage and Suzy and I go over to them.
"Loved the speeches" I say
"You were stupid. You weren't polite. You interrupted me. You aren't my best bro anymore. Caleb you're back in" Joey says
"Ha in your face Spencer" Caleb says
"Hey Spencer your father and I are gonna head to the hotel" my mom says
"Ok. Bye mama" I say
They leave and so does Suzy's family. Next is alan and his family and Caleb and Kelsey. Luke and Liam leave as well.
"Hey Spencer I'm going to head out. Both of my sisters are asleep. I'll just take them to my apartment since they're staying with me until you and Suzy arrive back from the honeymoon." Brian says
I nod and he leaves. Luke and Liam leaves as well.
"We're heading out" Chad says
They leave and it's only us and the Stampers. We all grab our stuff then leave. Suzy and I get to my house and we're so tired we go straight to bed. I lay down and drift off to sleep.
