Hi, first time challenging SuLay to be honest. It's from a request so I thought yeah why not.
****

Red roses. Dim lights. Candlelights on the nicely set up table with utensils.

Everything was perfect except for the food in the oven that Lay was going to serve later. The sweat was trickling down his forehead and he was panicking.

Lay pulled out his handgloves and rushed towards the bathroom for a fresh bath. It normally took him 20 minutes, but he finished it at about 5 minutes. But that didn't stop him from checking again and again that he was super clean and was smelling fresh.

Clothes. A simple black tee that he loved and grey ripped jeans. He had always liked it when he dressed casual but sexy. And Lay was definitely dressing his style today.

Lay sprayed a little of his favourite cologne and styled his hair. His hair had always been short and it didn't took him long to style it.
It's gonna get messy later anyway.

When he got himself all checked, Lay checked his watch and sighed. 30 more minutes. More time to be anxious and pacing.

Minutes ticked by as Lay paced back to forth, styling his hair again, straightening his shirt and checking the food.

Finally the clock ticked to the right time and Lay eyed the food he brought out a minute ago and also the silent door.

He is late.
No, he isn't on time like he used to.

Lay furrowed his eyebrows as the door remained close after 5 minutes. He popped his phone out and dialed the number.
The tuts sounded but no one picked up the phone.

Minutes were lost as Lay finally stuffed the food back into the fridge and blew out the candles. He tried. So hard to muffled his sobs coming out as he rushed towards his bedroom and closed his door. Before leaning down and finally crying out loud into his palms.

He forgot.
He doesn't care.
He must have had an accident.
I don't know.
Im pathetic.
It's the nth time he missed a date he promised.
Im so done with this.

Lay didn't even realise he was out of breath until his sobs finally died down.
Without realising, he was drowned in his own dreams as he laid on his bed.

In the middle of his dream, he heard the door creaking open and shuffling voices could be heard before a pair of warm arms enveloped him from behind.

In the midst of all of this, Lay heard a soft "sorry" before he drifted off back to sleep.

Lay blinked open his eyes painfully at the sight of the too strong sunlight. He stretched and sat up in curiosity as he felt the empty spot beside him.

Not entirely sure what to think, Lay shuffled across the room groggily and stepped out of the door.
The amazing smell of bacon erupted in his smell as Lay followed the smell down to the living room.

Without realising, Lay found himself leaning against the kitchen door as he watched the magnificent sight before him.

Suho was wearing absolutely nothing on his upper body except for an apron and was humming slightly as he flipped another bacon in his frying pan.
Normally Lay would feel heart warming at the sight but now all Lay could feel was unbelief.
How could he act like nothing just happened?

While Lay was still furrowing his eyebrows at him, Suho noticed him and turned off the stove before shuffling to him, smiling brightly.
"Honey I made your favourite breakfast."
