And they just grinned at each other as Sehun and Luhan laid ln the balcony of the apartment, quietly waiting for the last few hours of Luhan's birthday to end.
Luhan had a great day today. He spent time with Sehun and his Exo members, families, fans. He felt content. Maybe even more, when he was just here, laying in Sehun's arms, breathing in the scent of his shirt.
"Happy Birthday again. " Sehun whispered.
"You said it for the umpteen times already in a day." Luhan chuckled.
"I love you."
"This too." Luhan slapped Sehun's shoulder playfully.
"What about...we do something crazy." Sehun suggested.
"Like what?" Luhan sat up and faced Sehun.
"Like..something we could do before ending your birthday..if you're not too tired." Sehun said.
"Im not tired. Im excited." Luhan laughed.
"Okay then come on." Sehun held Luhan's hand and guided him into the house.
The two of them changed clothes and tiptoed out of the house, careful not to startled the members who were already asleep.
Sehun ran with Luhan, still holding onto each others hands towards an amusement park.
Luhan paused in front of it, hesitating.
"What's wrong?" Sehun asked.
"Im scared...." Luhan said.
"It's okay. You have me. You're gonna be fine. "Sehun soothed while he wrapped his hands around Luhan.
Sehun brought Luhan to the ferrieswheel, encouraging the elder to step inside it caused about ten minutes.
In the ferrieswheel, Sehun held Luhan's hand tightly. Luhan did not seem to tremble much, he just squeezed his eyes shut as they moved upwards.
When they were at the top, Sehun leaned in and captured Luhan's lips in his own. It was a small peck before pulling away and whispering.
"Still afraid?"
"Surprisingly no.. not with you here." Luhan whispered back, their foreheads bumping into each other.
"Good. " replied Sehun.
He leaned in and kissed Luhan again. This time passionately. Their lips moved against each other like puzzle pieces put back together.
Sweet.
The clock tower of the amusement park rang as to informed that it was already twelve o'clock.
Luhan pulled back and said.
"Poof, my birthday's gone."
"No worries, to me, every day is your birthday." Sehun's lips curved into a smile and he whispered one last sentence before their lips met again.
"I love you. My XiaoLu."
