*A week later*

"Oh, how I hate school." Erica groaned aloud as she tried to put up a green banner. Basically the banner was some sort of joke about St. Patrick's day, and since our school is a 'green' school (conserving light and energy), the administration wanted a 'green' party this Friday. Me and Erica had to go, because we just so happened to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. One of the science teachers were practically dashing across hallways, desperate to find some more helpers and chaperons for the party, and they just so happened to randomly pick Erica and I. Of course, we couldn't deny the request.

"Tell me about it," I held up some wall pins and handed her one so she could hold up the banner easily as it was shown on one of the walls by the atrium. "I wish Blake was here."

"Someone missing me?" I heard a voice say.

I turned around and Blake stood there with his book bag and book in his arms. Elaine stood there too, and it looks like they were just walking around the school together. I tried to ignore Elaine and I gave Blake a quick hug.

"Don't worry. I've missed you too." He said with a wink.

"Yada yada yada. Enough with the boyfriend and girlfriend crap. I think about Ryan whenever I see you two doing that stuff around me," Erica struggled to keep the banner neatly on the wall, so I quickly handed her another pin helpfully. "Where's Logan?" She suddenly asked them.

"He's around here somewhere." Elaine confirmed. He watched Erica for a few seconds, examining her. I was kind of staring at her too for a second when I first saw her. She was wearing a short skirt and sandals and a nice and tight hot pink shirt (It's the middle of March now) so it wasn't a surprise that people started dressing like this. Question is, why Erica? Well, she told me, but begged for me not to tell anyone else. She said that ever since Logan asked about her and Ryan doing 'it', she realized that she wanted to get it over with because she thinks that it'll really make their love for each other 'official' but I just don't believe her. I know that there's something more to it than just that. Anyway, she thinks the 'sort of slutty' look will attract Ryan more and she says that she's seeing him this afternoon to talk to him about it.

While Erica was trying to reach and take off a pin, one of them fell off and into her shirt. She hopped off the mini ladder and started complaining again. Blake walked on the ladder to hold the banner straight and Elaine just stared at Erica. I watched him intensely.

As soon as I saw Logan come into view, he smirked at Erica, "I'll help you with that." He started to reach into her shirt but she backed away, shooting a defensive glare.

"Logan, leave her alone. Do you think you can help me put up this banner?" Blake asked.

"Why should I help out this damn school?" Logan spat out. "The school has never done anything for me."

"Except offer you an education, which you continue to deny." Elaine suddenly said. I rolled my eyes at the both of them and glanced at Erica, who was still trying to find the pin that was hiding in her bra still. Once she found it and took it out carefully, she smiled and pinned it into the banner.

"There." She said proudly.

I grinned and Blake rearranged some of the pins and the banner stood still as he went back down the ladder.

"How did you do that?" Erica asked in shock.

"You just have to have the same number of pins on each side of the banner so it'll stay in place equally." He informed her. She gave him a dumbfounded look and just blinked away in defeat.

"Whatever." She gathered her books on the floor as the bell rung for class. "I'll have to catch up with Ein to do some last bits of a Computer project. See you guys later." She walked off and Logan watched her carefully, a smirk slowly growing on his face. Elaine caught his look and rolled his eyes.
